This is such a wholesome presentation. I had a vague idea of the kind of skills that were required for my Grad. I'll surely get these done before my MBA Starts.
Please do one for Finance or interview someone in finance. . Kudos to the content you are sharing, your task table is helping me in managing time better. Thank you and 💜
How much percentile i need to get call from IIMs 10 - 89.3 12- 69. Graduation - 72.5 I want honest answer please tell me anyone. What's the truth for percentile or getting into iim with this profile 😑!
@@kmrdevansh It depends on the IIM. Some need only 75th PERCENTILE whereas some need 98th PERCENTILE(kEep in mind, it's PERCENTILE NOT PERCENTAGE, don't get confused).
This is pure gold ma'am! I couldn't thank you enough for this insight! Being an enthusiast in the marketing domain, I badly wanted something of this sort. Keep bringing-in such insights. 😀
I had NMIMS WAT/PI call, my WAT topic was an analysis about how a company can improve their marketing. I used these inputs and Digital Marketing and also included Data Analytics for business decisions and Data Science to create machine learning for better reach. So glad that I watched this video and made notes for the same.
Awesome video! Loved how you covered every aspect. Being an introvert, I just felt a bit awkward on the parts of interaction and networking, the parts of lateral thinking, brainstorming, and digital marketing really fascinated me. Makes me wonder if I'm cut for the job or not. This was very helpful, thank you!
Don't worry, I'm also an introvert! You may already possess some skills and may learn some on the way, it's always an enriching experience. You don't already need to possess all the skills :)
Mam I am just feeling stressed out that I should give cat or not and also regretting that I should have stated earlier.i didn't have that awareness..because 1 week ago I started my preparation and done with the basic of 2 chapters of quant and doing 7 set of lrdi everyday.... and I graduated in August 2021 in bsc micro but micro field is of not my interest than job is also not possible for me..than what should I do now should I take the risk of cat?
Same situation but i am just giving cat this year to know where i stand, i am seriously preparing for CAT2022 so no regrets in learning something earlier😊
Shweta ! Can't tell you how valuable this video is. I have been looking for such courses on marketing recently and you landed up with such an informative video !!
Coming from a diverse background, this video surely adds on to my knowledge and interest pertaining to marketing! Thank you, for creating such quality content!✨
Hey Shweta, thanks for this video. This exactly what I was looking for. Also, I have a request. Can you make this type of detailed video about the recruitment process of FMCG? I know there is a blog about it, but a video will be really nice. I want to get into FMCG sales & marketing
Consumer insights behaviour Market research Data analytics Ppt Exel Distributor (stakeholders)management People management Networking Laterial thinking Digital marketing Financial accounting
First of all I am very greatfull to you for doing such great videos. You never compromise on the quality of content that you provide. I humbly request you to do a video on IT in mba which various IIMs offer. Can only students from CS background do such a specialization. What companies recruit them. Please consider my request.
Please make a vdo on mba in hr. What skills are required and job positions offered for the same and also why hr is not as popular like the other specializations finance or marketing! N also thanks for these amazing videos 😊☺
Awesome video please do throw light on case studies and its value and how important it is for someone not from iima Can u also suggest books& courses for economics and the subject knowledge one must have ..
Here are the two posts you may find useful - www.non-engineer.com/post/7-things-to-learn-from-iim-cases-for-your-cat-preparation www.non-engineer.com/post/best-finance-business-books-mba Honestly, case studies by themselves are nothing, it is the classroom discussion that follows which makes all the difference. So, rather than reading such case studies, read books, build a theoretical foundation and engage in such group discussions if possible - that will enrich your knowledge.
Ma'am in DILR sets in mocks, either i'm taking too much of time in solving questions i know or the questions are not very familiar to me which are different from the excercises coaching material has provided. What to do, how to practise different varieties of questions in DILR?
The coaching material is generally on the easier side while the mock tests are trickier, hence the best source to practice tough DILR sets is via mock tests/sectional tests. Don't worry, take every mock as a learning exercise even if you're unable to score well, try learning from the sets.
Thanks for the insights Mam. The quant research & customer analytics course links in the description aren't working. Could you please share them afresh. :)
Before watching this video I thought Marketing Manager has to take care of only the distribution channel, not market study or consumer insights(Bcoz I think it is required when u want to introduce a new product or an existing product is not working). Most comprehensive video, Thank You.
Wow! you actually completed your target of uploading a video on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday of this month and that is actually motivating. ❤️ Also, thankyou for this video , you always solve almost all my doubts without even asking❤️. I guess most of the courses and skills will be really helpful in other sectors too! Saved the video, will watch again after exams. 😊
Mam I would graduate Bcom hons next year in may and most likely will go for CAT next year without any workex. Freshers are mostly asked technical questions but I didn't study much during my first and second year. 1)What can I do to avoid technical questions from my first and second year subjects like Accounting, Economics and Costing? 2)I'm well versed with my 3rd year syllabus which comprises of specific subjects like Banking and insurance, Financial markets and Indirect Tax. How can I mention these subjects exclusively in any coherent way without shedding much light on other subjects?
So, during the interviews, you're generally asked which subjects did you like the most - at that time you can mention the subjects from your third year. If you get asked questions from your first year and you don't know the answers to a couple of them, share that you were keener on the subjects of your third year while the first year was mostly spent on exploring yourself.
Hello, can i get into IIMs or top B-school with 80.75% in 10th and 81% in 12th. I did my graduation in September 2021 and got 63% (bcom) non engineer OBC. Planning for CAT2022. Im doing internships and some NGO experience along with my studies, will i get call from above mentioned institute?
@@Shweta-Arora thank you for considering..It's available in some places but they haven't made that much clear.. Some where it shows the min cutoff required present in the iim websites .... And somewhere just a round up value like more than 98 percentile and 99 percentile..
Hi di, really appreciate how much effort you put in to these videos for us. Makes me feel like I'm around my friends with a similar goal. Can you please tell that what during iim interviews, if the interviewers ask whether I have any questions for them, then what kind of questions are meant to be asked and what should be specifically avoided.
I'm so glad you feel that way!! Regarding your question, generally, you can ask questions around the college, any particular course/club/fest conducted. Shows your interest in the institute. You may even seek clarification on a question you were asked but didn't know the answer to, which shows curiosity to learn. But avoid questions like how was my interview or what is the package or when will the results get announced - shows desperation.
Ma'am these requirements of having great soft and interaction skills is stressing me out... I just can't..if they ask me go and interact with a stranger on xyz topic..as a part of project wrk... + do all all mba functions mkting , consul.finance, HR requires top notch speaking skills ? can I escape from these..
Ma'am, I am a B.Com graduate and currently pursuing a 3 year LLB from Delhi University. Will a 3 year LLB hamper my admissions to iim abc (considering the fact that 5 year LLB course is more valuable)? Are 3 year llb and 5 year llb treated equally or unequally in iims ?
Hi mam, I'm a 3rd year bcom student who would graduate in May'22 and take CAT for the first time in Nov' 22. Can you tell me what kind of documents are needed if workex is family business? If I have a joining letter, then would salary slips of only the last few months of work ex suffice as I don't want to take any salary for the first few months of work?
Thank you for this video. I am working at tcs digital as a UI developer. I am a mba aspirant and wants to go into marketing, specifically brand management . I have heard that this role is very scarce. Can you please also elaborate about necessary skills required for brand management. I am thinking about leaving this job and join performance marketing job. What would you advise me? Is it necessary to have hands on in marketing to land such role. Kindly reply 😅
Yeah bro same issue am also working in Infosys as a system engineer but i don't have satisfied with this IT job so am also thinking of doing mba in marketing what would u think?
Hello Sweta di, I always saw people making videos on finance, Marketing and all, but I want to persue MBA in HR , so can you tell me how is the value and worth of the same
Hey, I'll surely create a video regarding MBA in HR or the skills required. It's worth it if you're truly into HR, some of my friends from XLRI and TISS were also my colleagues. So, the payscale is at par with marketing jobs.
Can anyone recommend good marketing course. I am confused about which role in marketing to go for although do have slight interest in Copywriting but any course to get clarity???!!!!
ma'am, I am doing some courses namely people analytics, managing talent, etc . from different websites. recently spjimr released applications for MBA programmes, in the middle of the application they are asking us to choose the specified area which we are interested in and they are giving options to select the reason, among those options one is "done specialised courses/course in chosen area". so I am doing these certificate programmes, can I choose that option. whether these courses are sufficient for that option?
