Fantastic animation quality, by people that did MS:Gundam and other late 70's early 80's show. Sadly by the time this came out.... fanservice and idol culture already was in full swing :(. I miss the Japanese Space Operas.
I remember seeing pictures of this series in Newtype anime magazine! issues of the magazine had like promo episodes of anime. Dragonar reminds me of Gundam and Robotech Macross mixed up.
Basically the same people as Mobile Suit Gundam (with some exceptions like Tomino missing). The animation is top notch, and it's certainly one of the last true Japanese Space Opera animations. (Before they became far more rare).
Dude (or Dudette), I want to thank you IMMENSELY for uploading these episodes. After watching this series once, I bought the blu-ray set from Japan (¥¥¥¥¥¥...). Now I'm rewatching the series with my kids on your channel. It might be c0p¥r1gh+ *nfr*ng*m*nt to upload this XLNT show, but it's the best way to preview shows before buying pricey media & merch.!
