Markham home invasion: Suspect waves gun during break-in, surveillance footage shows

York Regional Police have released dramatic footage they say is connected to a home invasion that took place in Markham, Ont., early Wednesday morning.
Police say the incident occurred at a home near Victoria Square Boulevard and Woodbine Avenue as four suspects invaded a home shortly after midnight.
In surveillance footage, four people who are dressed in black from head to toe, are shown getting out of an SUV as they walk down the sidewalk. The next scene is where things pick up, as the group appears to kick in the front door of the residence before entering the family home.

Why targeted? it is easy, asian upscale neighborhood, you can expect cash, jewelry, luxury cars etc. Sadly, it is always the same people doing these crimes, putting a bad name out there for others. Police refuse to do anything to help, as a homeowner you cannot protect your self! if you put a banana peel behind your front door, and the robber slip, you will be at fault! this is the world we live in nowadays. I remember times where I did not have to lock my front door, and I can trust my family is safe. Nothing like that anymore! Some people ought to be ashamed of themselves, embarrassing your parents as well. Pigs are raised better~!

Considering China has gone completely cashless, I doubt the newer Chinese immigrants are hoarding cash. They put their money in real estate and gold. And not the kinda gold you keep at home.
