I couldn't agree more! I have a burn scar on my arm and for years sweltered through the summers in cardigans until one year I just couldn't stand it any more, and took the cardigan off. Seriously, no one cared about the scar. Life really is too short, and no one is perfect.
@@talex1625 i have a scar on my face and have lost a finger...if people dont like it then they dont need to look...they are insigificent in my life so they dont matter
Hi Kim, I’m really getting fed up with M&S. A couple of years ago they had T-shirts that had a proper scooped neck and three quarter sleeves that were very flattering for the older arm brigade. That meant that you didn’t have to wear something else on top and end up being too hot. Since then it’s been neck strangling round necks or v necks that remind me of football tops and I’m tired of them. Surely the buyers need some training. Dee
If you take the number on your label the staff will tell you if there in stock and can order them for you so hope you manage to get the M&S trousers ❤❤
Hi Kim, my fave is definitely the blue, it’s really you and I think it’s me too so I think I’ll be buying that too. You really suit the green colour but not style sadly and I agree with you on the others. Well done girl…I hope you will be able to get used to having a scar. I’m certainly not minimising the impact the awful accident and all you had to go through, but you are too good a person to have to hide a part of yourself like that. God bless you always. Vanessa x
Hi kimdont like the green top but I love the blue and white top it really suits you i find a v neck suits most people. Can't go wrong with marks.i have quite a few vneck tops from m and s x
Hi Kim most people wouldn’t even notice your arm .Wear whatever you feel comfortable in . Loved the blue and black T-shirts .Totally agree bout the filly top.x
Love the blue jazzy one on you. The sleeveless white one is a staple. The green ones neck was really high, i have a top like that and i feel it is suffocating me lol so i agree with you. The comment about your arm still waving after you had stopped made me laugh so much. You are tiny compared to me kim lol xx
Kim you're such a lovely lady and I hope you don't mind me saying but please stop hiding your arm with the scar if anyone asks say you were in accident. Don't worry what other people think it's only a scar. My arms are covered in scars and I just get on with it. I loved this haul the white is really lovely and so is the blue. Sending lots of love ❤xxxxx
Hi Kim, just a thought have a look at the label on your old trousers there will be a number beginning with T or another number on the label and put the number in on m an s site you may find they have changed the “makeup of the trousers” make em cheaper I assume. Good luck an let us know x
Loved your video. If you want to reorder the trousers you loved , look for the code on the label and enter this in the search . You will then be sure to get the right ones . But be aware they may be discontinued but the search will tell you if this item cannot be found . Loved the deep blue top by the way . Really suited you xx
Love your haul, I have bought a lot of the polyester patterned tops, I prefer them to t shirts. I also prefer the round neck ones but can see the v neck suit you better xx
Kim, your scar is part of your life story and you shouldn’t feel the need to cover it, especially as it gets warmer! I do understand though…….I don’t like the high necklines on you so much and the navy pattern t.shirt was far better than the frilly sleeve green one! Xx
Have a look on the label of the original M&S trousers. You’ll probably find a code for them. Enter that code in the search bar online or phone the store. What happened to your arm, if you don’t mind me asking.
I agree the green top was a lovely colour but the style of it did nothing for you. I loved the blue top, though. I thought the white top looked a bit thin, but if you liked it, that's absolutely fine. I love your vlogs, so entertaining, and you make me smile 😂
Hi Kim. I've had my colour analysis done twice - not my choice, but activities that we were doing at work. it was fun and interesting, and in fact I absolutely agreed with the findings for me. One of the ladies doing it with us didn't understand why she and I had different results, because we're both blue-eyed blondes. But I put my arm next to hers, hoping she would see the difference, which was that her skin was very "creamy", whereas mine is very pink. So she looked fabulous in a bright orange dress she used to wear, which I would look horrendous in! For the trousers, have you looked at the name of the ones you like (for example, I like the Sienna straight-legged ones)? The black, white, and blue t-shirts are fine, of course. To be honest, I knew as soon as you held up that green one and the last one with the weird sleeves that they wouldn't suit!
Im like you Kim with the M & S trousers love the jersey type & ive been finding some on vinted & new with tags so take a look as I know you're getting addicted to it with all the eye pallets you've bought recently 🤗 definitely v necks suit you better & love the blue one on you .. Just a quick question im sure I remember you saying quite while back now you were going to do a cooking vlog & a flat tour.. Is that something you'd still like to do as it would make a change in content for you... Get those arms out Kim no one is really bothered get them a nice tan youll feel so different we all have scars & things we don't like.. I have a knee replacement scar but its really quite thin & faded now so please don't feel embarrassed its part of you & you're special 💖 .. are you still having any physio on it Kim I remember when you had your accident & you couldn't move your fingers I really hope you sorted that out properly as lots of us advised you.. Take care lovely xx
Hiya Kim…I have just stumbled across your video and I really enjoyed your down-to-earth personality. I know absolutely nothing about you so I have no idea about your arm/scar. I can;t help myself - I have to be totally honest and say to you “What are you on about woman?” Your scar is not a big deal at all (in terms of how it looks I mean). I realise you obviously feel very self-conscious about it but please please give wearing your nice short sleeved tops without a cover-up cardie or jacket a go. Once you have taken that brave leap of faith once you’ll never look back! What’s your scar got to do with anyone? If anyone does ask - you can tell them as much or as little as you want. I broke my leg/ankle once (bad one with pins/plates etc having to be inserted)…When people asked what I’d done I used to have a laugh and say it was a sky-diving accident (as opposed to the real story which was losing my balance and falling over whilst cutting the grass!🤪 Seriously - as I say Kim, I know absolutely nothing about you or your scar but get both those arms out, enjoy wearing your tops with the nice short sleeves and enjoy your summer girl! Life’s too short. It’s only a scar…it’s part of you and your life story so please don’t let a little thing like that hold you back. Really hope you don’t mind me saying all that. I’m not meaning to be a gobby cow but just feel compelled to say that. Really enjoyed this first video - thankyou . Mary (Scottish lass living in France)
Check the code on the label in your old trousers and try putting that in the search bar I’ve done that on an old bra I had that fitted me perfect and was able to get another, wobbly arm and a parrot 🦜 you brighten my evening Kim 😂
