I think we bought the same trailer, I remember 3 or 4 up for auction. I cut off all that extra box tubing in the front and had to fab up a new handle for the side tilt lock. still need to paint and add a better jack. Cool video Thanks
Thank you for reaching out, @Gtown1981 ! I get the feeling that the actual locking mechanism itself is poorly designed on these trailers, so it's a problem beyond just fizing the side handle. That's the reason why the central locking bolt was added on.
Question for equipment trailer experts out there: Is there any point in keeping the metal framing on the front of the trailer? Or should I just cut this off and have more usable space up front?
