If you can trade markstrom for njs 10th. that would be very ideal. And then you can trade andersson plus for ottawas 7th. That would be amazing. But this isn’t nhl 24. So more likely some bs trade for markstrom and andersson stays on the team. Fingers crossed I’m wrong. In Conroy we trust

Markstrom has played his last game as a flame for sure. I think everyone knows that and will lowball conny. Just hope we can get at least a 1st for him at this point

There are 4!! Teams in on Markstrom and I can tell you now Ottawa has the best package on the table to date (7th overall pick) which is better then NJs 10th pick.. Also Flames WILL NOT RETAIN ANY OF MARKSTROMS SALARY!!

People who think a 34 soon-to-be 35-year-old goalie with 2 mediocre last years is getting you a 1st round pick and/or a top prospect, let alone a top ten pick are insane. Ullmark might get a 1st, but he is 4 years younger and actually won a Vezina. Soros might as well if traded, but he just turned 29. You can still build around them. The last Goalies that got a 1st were Kemper, Anderson, Jones, Lenher, Schneider and Varlomov . All where much younger. Schneider who was 24 at the time ( 9th overall) and Varlomov who was 22 (11th overall) the only ones that revived high picks. The other goalies traded on this list were late first, and none of them were in their mid-30s coming off a couple of shit seasons. Every other goalie in the league that has been traded lately has been for midling prospects and/or mid-level picks. Markstrom is not getting you anything close to a top ten pick+, or a team's top 4-5 prospect, let alone both, just for the 2 maybe 3 years he has left. Just Stop.

I wonder if Ottawa would have interest in Rasmus. If they were willing to put their 7th overall in play, Conroy should absolutely work something out. Maybe Rasmus and Pelletier would get it done.
