I was just wondering as want learn, whats the theory of dropping tyre pressure, is itnfor more grip. I have an E93 m3 i think winter pressures are meant to be 42psi rear and 37psi front. For summer ive done 40psi rear and 36psi front. Is that ok?
It depends on if they are road tyres or slicks etc Slicks you run low you want flex because that’ll mitigate wheelspin Roads you don’t want low because flex can equal less grip in some circumstances not to mention more rolling resistance more wear more fuel etc Those pressures are fine for summer (I take it you run 19s)? But have a play about though take them down by 5psi on car park and have a play with it
@AI-Records24 hey, really appreciate you coming back to me. I have 19s and run Michelin PS4, so if I lower it for the car park, basically better donuts 🍩 lol.
