This music brings back fond memories of my childhood. My father had this cassette in his Datsun. In 12/87 when we were driving to closing on their house, it felt bittersweet and that we were finally going home.

My dad had this album I'M LAYING ACROSS THE BED 😢 CRYING. I searched for it FOUND IT. The Magnificent Seven parts touched me today. He passed away in 1998 this brought him back to me today.......

Oneichan Critchlow My Dad had this album too. I used to lay on the floor in front of the stereo with a speaker on either side of me listening to it. My Dad died in 1978.

I just bought this LP today for $2 in excellent shape. In memory of Grandpa, but we both smoked, and I still smoke Marlboro...

I had this as a cassette tape back in the 70's. I believe we had to send in a certain number of Marlboro box tops to get the tape. Life happens & I lost the cassette. I have searched & searched for this!!! Very happy!!! Brings back many wonderful, happy memories of my Dad & me chasing cows, fixing fence, rodeos.

Great album. I discovered it when I was 14, living in Germany. Immediately fell in love. Was hoping it would be found on Spotify but instead found it here. Really beautiful music. Thanks for the memories!

my dad had the LP of this, and when I was home alone I would crank it to 11 and even played my flute along parts of it. I went to college and absconded with it and kept it a real long time. country boys never actually leave the country I guess.

Yippee! In the late 1970s I was given a cassette tape of this. I played that tape so much it plain wore out. I had been looking for it for all this time. No one knew where to find it, even the folks at Marlboro knew nothing about it. And now, here it is! One side is instrumental, the other side is singing. Elmer Bernstein captured the romance of the west perfectly. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this.

I was given the tape from a friend who's dad had a ranch on the California coast where Marlboro filmed some of their commercials.

October 21, 1984 went to see Ronnie Milsap, Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs and George Strait in Kansas City, Missouri on the Marlboro Country Music Tour, same day as one of the Reagan/Mondale debates being held in KC!

Goin' Home is sung by John Wesley Ryles. I believe Elmer Bernstein composed much of the instrumental music.

I love this album. Unfortunately I wore it out. it was originally released for Marlboro cigarettes in the early 70's. Took several tops fro Marlboro cartoons to buy it, which I did.I've tried for years to find another and while there are albums out there they are not this one. If you know how this can be downloaded. I don't think it's copyright infringement asthe album is more than 25 years old (now public domain). I can find nothing that says Elmer Bernstein protected it

I don't believe my luck but I bought this on Ebay (in pristine shape) for 12.99. It's the same as the original thatI wore out. I'm gonna put it on CD and cassette so that I don't wear it out again

4:48 is a personal time stamp on your great compilation! It means that the commenting person wants you to fast forward (using the red ball on the bottom red line of the video to fast forward the play button) to begin playing video/music at the 4:48 time stamp/mark (which is four minutes, forty-eight seconds in from the beginning of video). This time stamp, marks (communicates) the commenting person's most loved part! Thank you, for this great upload, NEVER, EVER, get tired of listening.
