During this era, there were a number of albums, known and some forgotten, that had at least 1 song that had the m.c. or group's DJ that displayed a quick flexing of the turntable operator's skills. In a modern time where commercial "trap" beats rule the targets, Starbucks, youtube, and twerkfest downloads, it's nice to know of a time when the DJ was the REAL crowd motivator, and not wanting to be up in everyone's videos, and dancing....
