المستغرب أن كل اللي ظاهرين بالفيديو وخاصة منظر ومظهر البطريرك والمطارنة والخوارنة بيفكر ان كل شعبهم وبكل أنحاء العالم وخاصة بسورية بنفس السوية بالنسبة للشعب اللي حولهم يا عيب ولا يا حرام ما بعرف لكن الله يرحم أمثالهم القدماء
You mean Assyrian lol. If your different to Nestorians prove it by showing us your haplogroups. Your regionalism has grown absurd. A different dialect and church not enough for you but you deny Assyrian continuity and other factual sins. Only the the truth is good.
The syriac orthodox church (arameans) has never followed the Nestorian doctrine. The syriac orthodox church, like other churches, separated from them in the 5th century. Arguably the biggest writer of the “Syriacs”: st. Ephrem the Syrian identified himself as an Aramean (4th century). The Syriac name has been used in the decades after.
Despite our similarities, we are not ashuri. We are brothers however and we should not fight. Same culture, mass, language, homeland, foods etc but what differs us is our identity. You can call yourself ashuri if you choose to, I have nothing against that. It’s when we become assyrianized that I have a problem with it.
