This is Marlon Jackson speaking about his brother at Michael Jackson's induction into the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, NY. Please excuse the shaky video...
This is a wonderful speech from Marlon. Michael certainly deserved to be inducted into the Nat'l Museum of Dance...long ago, but at least he is in there now. Thanks for posting this video...and for all the footage of MJ dancing!
God bless you Marlon. You gave a wonderful speech. It must be terribly hard losing Michael. I will continue to hold you and your family in prayer. Your fan...Susie
OH ! thank you for posting the entire speech. He really was eloquent. I came to like Marlon very much. I love The Jackson Family. Reasons here for Michael to be proud. ♥
I've found that people just love to criticize Mike because he's 'Michael Jackson'. Even highly intelligent people go for the controversy rather than the facts. What can you do ?
Thank you so much I love MARLON so much and your family keep GOD FIRST always love keep your biggest fan of the Jackson family always thank you from Detroit 😍❤💛💕💖💗💞💟💥👍💋fan for life thank you again!!!!!!
In deed, STUDY PEACE Marlon, thankyou, we need to love one another, if we all unite as one, there will be no WAR LOVE is the answer. This has been Michaels message through out the years, in all the songs read the lyrics, we all knew the words but didnt connect the dots till he was "gone" BRING LOVE BACK INTO THE WORLD! L.O.V.E. is the answer. Thank you Marlon, and thank you for uploading this video. xxx
Thanks for this video. Is there a transcript for this speech? I found it hard to understand. However, I am grateful for you for sharing this most important event. Michael truly deserved this honour. His legacy of entertainment and humanity will never be forgotten. He lives in our hearts.
I'm glad that Marlon spoke from personal experience and chose to use this event to carry messages so true of Michael; reminding people that we are one, caring for children in need is so worthwhile & that all children are our future. Only Michael himself could have spoken about his own dance career experience(s) so, Marlon didn't even try. Rather, he reminded us all that we can always do better to create a better & more peaceful world. thank you Marlon peace & ♥ always with dance & ♪♪
@ABCHealTheWorld Thankyou for your reply. Thats what I was trying to say. I have been a Jacksons fan for more than 37yrs and although I love them I always think that when its a MJ award it always turns out to be about them.. LOVE & God bless You
@Ketren2 you know what I am entitled to my own opinions... All I said was that whenever there is a award for MJ it always ends up being about the Jacksons which I think are great I have followed and been a fan of them since the 70's... If the award is about MJ then the speach should be about MJ pure and simple.... L.O.V.E.
Dear bethlovemj, I have just watched Marlon's speech on the induction of Michael into the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame, and I'm afraid I could hardly make out a single word even though I had the volume at 100%! You wrote somewhere of doing a transcript but I cannot find it. I would so appreciate that. You did a great job. Thank you. Is it on RU-vid somewhere?
I have to apologize because I honestly didn't pay close attention to Marlons speech (which I should have) because I was so mesmerized by the footage they were showing of Michael, Michael is sooooooooooo deserving of this award. I'm happy that Marlon was there to receive it in his honor. D.Buchanan
I've researched this family greatly. Marlon and Tito and Janet are the only three that didn't leach. Marlon and Tito are good people. Rest are worthless. Marlon is class act and in that family wow
TheRounder1980 you must know the family really well from a personal point of view to make a condescending statement like that? No media coverage, no outside opinions, or hearsay formed your statement?
Marlon made a wounderful speach, but everytime its a MJ award it's always about the Jackson5, if MJ didn't "die" where would they be now. Noone was really thinking about them it was always about MJ not the Jacksons. MJ is the Star they seem to forget that.. They were big in the 70's and 80's after that they faded away.
@bethlovemj no sweety you got it backwards, their was and isnt any jaCKSONS WITHOUT MICHAEL! and im not starting a fight with you cause im sure you LOVE MICHAEL we just dont agree with this subject!
