The Wayans Brothers show was an equal duo-ship of main characters Marlon and Shawn. Although at times the more serious story driven focus was on Shawn's overall story piecing everything together with his "sidekick little brother", Marlon shined so much on the comedy aspect where Shawn wasn't entirely trying to do so and together the combination is what helped make the show even better. A good amount of comedy and seriousness. Neither above the other
