he still did his live set the night his dad died. it was a small venue and he wrapped his whole set around his parents and ended by telling us he just found out about his dad and we all teared up together. it was the most powerful comedy set i've ever seen. because despite all the sadness it was still hilarious. marlon is fking amazing ✊🤓

I'm glad Marlon is in good spirits after recently losing his dad. Unfortunately I know the feeling as well of losing both parents in the past couple of recent years. To the fellow people who has loss a parent or both just know their watching over you and to the folks who still have both parents or a parent cherish them while there still here.🙏🏾🙏🏾

The message at the end was beautiful. I've been binge watching In living Color and thinking about their legacy and Keenan and sibilings and to hear their dad passed away, i felt sad for them and i wished they were doing ok.
