The 2024 Marmot Tungsten 3P tent is an easy-to-set-up double-wall tent. Marmot even throws in a groundsheet! The 3P version weighs 6 lbs, which is fair for a camping / backpacking tent with the features and materials of a good tent.
It comes with guy lines, but you will need to pick up 4 more stakes to make use of them.

I have been using Marmot tents for years now, recently got the tungsten 3p and i think is one of the best tents out there, considering how easy it is to set up, how lighteight it is, and how durable it is. You also have some small pieces of velcro on the inside corners of the rain cover that you're supposed to tighten around the poles for some extra wind resilience!

@@Engearment No problem! i also remember there being a small hitch at the top of the vestibule for you to slide the short stake at the top into! for some extra sturdyness!

Thank you! I’m considering this tent as an upgrade from my old 1p tent. I want to sleep outside more no matter the weather, so i’m wondering if this tent can withstand moderate to heavy rainfall combined with wind, and maybe even during winter?

Hello!! I have had it in wind and rain, but not snow. Not sure what part of the world you will be using it. But I would not recomend it for serious winter use in the mountains where we use it. I am sure it can be done, but we get quite a bit of snow and I would assume that would be too much for the tent. When in doubt, I opt for a 4 season tent. For most folks, in moderate weather, this tent will be great. Hope that helps!
