If i had the chance to put a team together, he would always be included. I always liked the way he played, but after seeing him in the RWC19 Semi Final i just saw a different level to his game and it was so frustrating to watch. Quality player. Big fan from Kiwi-land. 🔥
@@CAMERONBROTHERHOOD97 as a South-African I cannot stop laughing when Itoje plays when he upsets the other teams players and he get in their heads so easilly😂
He reminds me so much of Richie McCaw. Genuinely think he's England's best player, he's so influential in so many ways, lives absolutely rent free in people's heads.
Itoje is incredible at the game but it’s his capacity to be the most definitive roguish shite that lends his character Legend status. As an Irish man can confirm he has upset me on too many occasions to count. Top class.
Imagine being so good that opposition fans had to make conspiracy theories to explain why you were so much better than the players in the teams they supported.
3_bananas that’s how much I respect this man! He is a special talent. And gets away with skulduggery like the great McCaw did. Everyone does it. He happens to be very good at it, though.
first off im welsh......but that irish kerfuffle is brilliant, makes it look like theres two on one but hes taking two players out of the game, stopping them from chasing the ball. proper dark arts
@@willrees7652 i mean its kinda insensitive to make a stadium song out of an anthem against slavery from the 19th century but it's very different from singing the song of a still living man recently convincted for 21 accounts of rape
As a South African this is exactly what you are looking for out of your lock, plus he's an excellent fetcher as well. A lock is suppose to disrupt the opposing them. But damn do I hate him when we play against him, he's like the new Richie McCaw
I'm seeing a lot of cocky Springbok supporter comments on many rugby videos this year. I mean, taking the piss is one thing, but some people are really like .... you think (insert foreign player) is tough, you should check out (insert Springbok name)... Its not a good look. It makes us look cheap.
Love all the comments talking about how they hate Itoje cause he's a grub when they're coming mostly from Saffas and Kiwis... Retallick acts the exact same way and Whitelock is a grub but very good at getting away with it. Don't even get me started on Etzebeth and Snyman. For the record,I love all these blokes but it's precisely because they're grubs 😂😂
@@benvaughan3392 your replying one year later.. On the good note. I actually grew to like the rugby he offers and thinks he is one of the world's best locks.
I'm Scottish and I don't know any Scots who hate him, he's a great player who I'd love to have on our team. I've a fair bit of welsh/irish hate towards him though.
I didn't know off the ball incidents on s rugby pitch qualifies yourself as a king of trolling. Where was he in the final he disappeared completely as etzebeth the warlord of northern suburbs of Cape Town grinded him like 4 week old piece of mince. He was destroyed and was nowhere to be seen.
He was on the telly reading bed time stories to the little kiddies during lock down. My little 6 year old thought he had a very kind face. Maro, Curry and Underhill what a nightmare. In the semi final against the ABs, Maro was EVERWHERE with those 3 metre arms swimming through mauls, smashing Whitelock and Retallick. Awesome! Oh yeah and can we stop singing wing low bloody sweet chariot? Feed him to the lions is way better!
@@diansmit1885 😂, just a few things , Pharrel is a musician/producer. Also "unspormanship" isn't a word, however with a name like Smit I'm guessing you are South African and English might be a second language and lastly being lectured by a saffer about dirty play!! Fucking hilarious. Thanks for giving me a smile 😁.
A big skill in Rugby is cheating in a creative way. Pulling people's jerseys off at rucks so that the other player wastes time fixes it, holding on to people's legs at rucks, banging into scrum half's when the ball is gone. little pushes and jersey pulls. And why is the dark arts? Because he never argues with ref's. All done when he knows the ref's attention is elsewhere. You can hit him a dig because you'll be caught. You can't hit him a hard tackle because he is bigger than most your players and doesn't want the ball anyway. He's brilliant.
No the best part is when the officials caught onto the shit he was at in 2021, and he finished on top of the leaderboard for penalties conceded in the six nations
Itoje is not quite the man he wants to be yet. He has a lot to learn. He was much better in the world cup, but still not quite good enough! He's not a Mattfield not a Bakkies, hell no where near Alan WynnJones! The lions tour next year will be massive and good time for Mario to show how much he's matured as a player. But I recon Snyman and Etzebeth are going to rattle his cage...
he got trolled badly by Am in the final - Am made him kiss his arse before Kolbe stepped for a brilliant try. Watch the footage its quite brilliant and makes me laugh every time.
That incident against Faf turned him into beast mode and he carved a thrilling Springbok win. Moreover Faf now has a world cup gold medal, this Tojer will never get one.
Can somebody explain how he doesn't get penalised for this sort of stuff. I dont a lot about rugby but surely smacking somebody, grabbing hold of their leg or pulling their shirt over their head is against the rules??
How is he a dirty player There's no illegal hits or cheating Hes just being smart and winding the opposition up unless his team are giving away a lot of penalties or they hav a harsh ref, he wouldn't get penalised for the things in this video
@@liquidationking9171 Do you watch the game? Literally no one ever holds players down after the ruck for nearly half a minute I’ve never seen it happen. It should’ve been a yellow card.
