This song doesn't remind of a lover or an ex. It, in a weird way, reminds me of my childhood and youth, every night I would stay up wondering what the future had in store before falling asleep. Now that the suns come up and im awake i realize that im now an adult. The one and only Thing I truly regret is not holding onto my childhood for just a bit longer

This song deserves a billion views, it just makes me so nostalgic :)

When this song came out, I was in the lowest point in my life. Phisically, mentaly, and financially drained. I was strugling to finish graduate school while taking care of my father, diagnosed with mental health issues, and maintaining the role as the backbone of the family. Back then, whenever I feel like I want to give up, I listened to this song and I would be strong as ever again. Years later, my father's health was improving. I graduated in 2016, but I lost him last year. Missing him so much. This is for you, Dad...

In Denmark we have schools called efterskole (afterschool) it's a school you live on and you really get bonded to the person you live with and go to school with and our last night we have this big prom our galla and i went on the school for two years and every time they playede that song as the last one it really got to me because it is true this night is our last time together and in the morning we have to go because our life is going forward and we can not stay behind and we have to move on. If you read this then i am sorry for the lack of grammar if there is any because i am dyslexia
