joshua hong, i miss you in maroon 5 :( so sad that you need to leave this band and join seventeen but u found another amazing family. forever joshushushu here and thank you for giving birth to sunday morning
For those who are wondering who is "Joshua" and why are people calling themselves 'carat' Joshua hong is a kpop idol from the group (of 13 members) called SEVENTEEN. He is a LA boy working in korea. Apart from their own songs, he also does english covers and this song is his personal favourite because it made him standout in seventeen for not only for his sweet voice but also singing in english (which international fans connect to and korean fans look up to) He is an inspiration for many carats who wants to study or work in different country, who wants to learn different languages. Someone who lives in a different country but wants to explore or go back to find their roots. For us carats(seventeen's fandom name) This song is like Joshua's entry song. Joshua breaths this song and thanks to him we also fell for this song. It has good rythm and nice lyrics. We genuinely appreciate the makers and the singer of this song. We love music and we love all the artist who makes it and promotes it. A big thankyou to people who took time and interest to read this comment. I love curious people like you who wants to have knowledge of everything they find different.🤝👍 💎💎💎
Thank You for the context and my respect to SEVENTEEN, my sister is a fan of the k-pop music, and I know that those boys and girls make a lot of sacrifices, so like a said before they got my respect🫡💜
Scoups once said, Joshua has been singing this song so much for over 10 years now that now I can't even remember the orginal singer's voice. Like I understand you Coupsie!! I can't unhear Joshua's voice in the back of my head even when listening to the original thing 😭😭😭
Lyrics Sunday morning, rain is falling Steal some covers, share some skin Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable You twist to fit the mold that I am in But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do And I would gladly hit the road, get up and go if I knew That someday it would lead me back to you That someday it would lead me back to you That may be all I need In darkness, she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning And I never want to leave Fingers trace your every outline Paint a picture with my hands Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm Change the weather, still together when it ends That may be all I need In darkness, she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning And I never want to leave But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do Sunday morning, rain is falling and I'm calling out to you Singing, someday it'll bring me back to you. Find a way to bring myself back home to you That may be all I need In darkness, she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning Driving slow It's flower in your hair I'm a flower in your hair
zZtReXx They devolved. The “Songs About Jane” showed some talent. They’ve become good musicians with terrible songs. I’m actually surprised they’re still together seeing as Adam is “Mr. Big Time”.
@@LilHaseProductions yeah, I agree. You can't go wrong with 2-5-1 it always works even in pop music. If you grew up in church like me you've heard this chord progression every Sunday. Lol
This is when they were a proper band playing physical instruments. Nowadays you wouldn't know there's anyone else besides Adam Levine, and their sound has morphed to commercial electronic Pop. Whatever.
i doubt it has to do with his ego... sex sells, he's an attractive guy, the record label wants people to watch and share them... all of that equals having more Adam in their music videos.
+TheHotFalafel Music evolves but I would agree that Maroon 5 probably won't come back to this writing. I just keep my ears open for great songs that maybe aren't current flavor of the month.
+JDChicago It truly does. But sadly in this case Maroon 5's change isn't music evolving into the "new sound". It's more of Maroon 5's marketing evolution. They wen't from a popular funk/jazz group, and know it's just all about Adam selling out to a more popular and profitable genre, electronic dance music. The change wasn't for the sake of music. It was for the money and contracts. That's why only Adam gets the publicity, the spots on late night shows and a chair on the voice. He probably got approached by some big business men in suits who offered him more if he signed himself to them. You never actually get to see the band get interviews or TV spots. It's almost like all the credit goes to him now.
The beauty of this song is that it taps right into both nostalgia and romantic nostalgia and that's just something so many of us can resonate with. This song never ceases to be beautiful, a true classic.
Here for Joshua. He must have sung Sunday Morning more times than Maroon5 themselves:) Joshua has been singing Sunday Morning before Seventeen's debut since 2015 and then cut to August 2022 Joshua impromptu sang Sunday morning at a bar in Oakland. Josh 💎
Here after Joshua sang at a bar in Oakland just recently (08/2022). Not forgetting he’s been singing Sunday Morning like it’s the Mascot song of Seventeen since 2015 💎🤍

Was also when they were playing actual music and not succumbing to the EDM sway of pop radio music. I always thought Songs About Jane was their best album and still is by far.

hahaha i love how people are so salty about maroon 5 now. at least he didnt go "solo" but I guess he might as well have. but I totally understand the early 2000s was much better.
Joshua fav song is literally my fav ones^^ Honestly , before idk actually this song when I everywhere everytime listening this song i regnozied Joshua voice he make me addicted to sunday morning~(ft. Wen Junhai)
+Johnny Mac I've heard this song just once, so would yo be so kind to explain me what this expression "driving slow on Sunday morning" truly means? please!
@@berta7019 in my opinion music peaked in the 90s and early 2000s. So many pointless ass lyrics to those 60s and 80s songs. Songs really found meaning in the 90s, but have declined since then.
