Yes, the Maroons have lost the current series & I know they’ve been pumped in 2 games, but I’d hardly call it the “greatest” catastrophe in the history of Origin. Do these “experts” (YES “Kenty”, that includes you pal) forget the Blues losing 8 series IN A ROW from 2010 - 2017??? I’m from NSW myself & we’ve had our share of catastrophes in Origin but again, I’d hardly call the Maroons’ 2021 campaign the “greatest Origin catastrophe”. Once again, Mr know-it-all (Kenty) resorts to talking over the top of everyone & what makes Hooper such an “expert”??? 🙄🙄🙄
Bruh the eight in a row wasn't from 2010-2017. Your years are wayyyyy off. The eight in a row was 2006-2013. Blues broke the streak in 2014. QLD won 2015-2017, NSW 2018-2019.

It might take a while, but I’m sure they can bounce back & avoid being “lapped”. After all, the blues have also copped their share of floggings from time to time.
As good as NSW were in game one and two they still have a long way to go to match their own magnificent record of winning 23 years in a row. I hope you succeed.
Honestly we'll done that finally nsw look established and are ready to win a few series in a row. When we were established and had a good spine we dominated. But the media always love to exaggerate so people like us have to comment. The media is based on drama. Headline grabbing. But a lot of it is not reality. Just made up drama. But it is funny
I wonder if we can place wagers on how long it will take before a player or players completely screw it up (the move to Qld) & get busted breaking “the bubble” by doing something really stupid like being drunk & disorderly in public, getting arrested, going to a casino or starting a fight in a bar, nightclub or even in the streets? Pretty bold and probably stupid to compare one origin team over one series to NSW 8 straight loses and think this qld team is a greater catastrophe. I’m a NSW fan btw.
At the end of the day, rugby league is a theatre. As they pointed out. Theres always going to be drama, people just arent used to QLD experiencing it. Us New South Welshmen had a had 11 years but now its our turn.

Luckily the series is over for NSW. Obviously they still haven't learned after numerous times not to attack QLD in the media, it only ends badly in the long run.
Wise words, years ago the QRL went to the Qld paper and told them not to put anything negative about NSW in so they had no extra motivation. They all have long memories.
They just can't admit that this NSW side is that good. Stop pointing the finger at QLD and their management and give credit to the current NSW side. You are correct, they think QLD should always win.
Jesus Christ....... QLD was good for 9 years now poor NSW is playing awesome with their good players. That's awesome to see. QLD needs to be a good sport and try their best and not be a massive sook about it
Queensland have been a joke for the last 5 years, the only thing they've got going for them is that freddy is a dud coach which Bennett showed last year, this blues side is good but nowhere near the qld team during their streak, the blues have got a brilliant backline and tradesmen forwards, it'll be interesting to see both squads next year, Kenty just talks over everyone, buzz barely seems interested unless he's dribbling about the sharks, with a few young forwards coming through, it wouldnt surprise me if nsw dominates for a while
