Folk legend Tom Russell and his band appeared on the CFRN Television show, Marquee, in October of 1988. This previously lost episode was produced by Fred Vos in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Tom Russell is noted as the co-writer of Ian Tyson's big hit, Navajo Rug.

The only thing missing are the great stories Tom tells between songs. This is so awesome, great flashback to the time when I first discovered his music, and began seeing him perform at Off Broadway here in St. Louis. Great to see Andrew and Fats in this as well.

CFRN…sure worked to bring great music to Edmonton…thanks to Fred Voss(Sun Country producer)…Stoney Plain Records too! Tom’s stories are always amazing….such detail…..”Fats Kaplan” accordion & steel guitar, nice touches! Thanks for posting!
