Marquette totally missed the point of some men being intimidated by some women. It has nothing to do with physicality. He didn't get to his point they interrupted him. His point was that intimidate means to make someone fearful. It's the wrong word but it's used to emasculated men because they aren't using proper communication. Same for "boss" it's meant to convey 2 things one of which is a lie and the other is your poor excuse for the degradation of words. So for him to bring that up was nonsense. Same for the word "boss". No one is actually under the misapprehension that these women are actually employers when they use that word. So it's not a lie. It's just slang. Now if one wants to argue the degradation aspect of what these women do, that's fine but the issue I have is with Marquette's style of conversation. It's based in insult and condescension. The chick left because of that. Not because they disagreed on the subject matter.

Intimidation is scaring someone.They aren't scared of them. They call themselves bosses because they are trying to claim aspects of someone who is in charge. They aren't in charge. Slang doesn't imply the meaning of words are changed it simply means it's informal or colloquial. Marquette wasn't speaking to her, and his tone was soft, and he was complimenting the other lady and giving his critique of her opinion. She left because she didn't like what he was saying. Hence why she said, "Women hating podcast".

My point is that Marquette's approach, no matter how soft spoken he is, is based in insults and condescension. The chick got upset because there was an accumulation of such behavior on his behalf, not because of what he was talking about at that moment. She said it and even another girl questioned whether or not the point of this podcast was to shit on women. There's a way to discuss these things, no matter how disgusted one is with these chicks, that lends itself to better discourse and Marquette is completely oblivious to that. Nobody reacts like that towards Michael Sartain. Because he can have conversations without putting people down. Marquette and Myron don't operate like that and then act all holier than thou when the women push back.

If you have to act like that to have a conversation, then it's not worth having because someone isn't trying to listen. They said they were trying to trash women because of the content of their speech. Otherwise, it woudlve been disrespectful towards them. And it's a good assumption, considering he said it in his followup convo with the lady he was actually talking to afterwards. Also if you feel someone is condescending because they are explaining something to you, you're just looking to find ways to complain. Marquette talks here the same way he talks to everyone regardless of the topic. And how is constantly interrupting with 0 point just to be rude "pushback"?
