and it is important that any man we choose fears Allah SWT and submits to Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammed SAW. i know this cant be an easy change but think about your Akhira and the result you want. in a couple of years insha'Allah it will all become much clearer for you when you meet the right person who loves Allah and his messenger and will sit and talk to you about stories of teh sahaba R.A.Dont make any hasty decisions at your age, Insha'Allah make dua and the right person will come along :)

If theyr both Muslim and want to marry each other then they should take the necessary steps and repent sincerely to Allah SWT and seek his guidance in this matter. Theres a dua they can read for guidance called Isthikara Dua, and this is basically them asking Allah SWT for guidance on the matter of marriage and if that person is right for them in the dunya and akhira in deen and other matters or not. Allah knows best. Tell them never feel its too late to repent no matter how big their sin is :)

Also it is permissible for Muslim Men to marry a christian or Jewish woman under certain conditions only i.e She must be chaste, pure and following the teachings of Christianity or Judaism correctly. you can find more info on this if you search Ahlal Khitaab. (people of the book). So in their situation it is permissible because any children that the woman bears will be a Muslim. Sister please do try and find someone who is Muslim, because this man is going to be teaching your children one day

Yes this is true. thats why i have stated the conditions under he can marry her. It rarely happens today but there are some jewish and christian women who are orthodox. Allahu Alim

Asalaamualaikam, if you are a muslim sister then it is not permissible for you to marry a non- Muslim. The reason for this is, in Islam the child must follow the religion of the father and in this case the father will not be Muslim. Regarding Race however you may marry someone from any race you like as long as he is Muslim insha'Allah. May Allah SWT grant you with a husband who will be the coolness of your eyes and enter with you into jannah ul firdous. :)

Colour doesnt matter in marriage. But religion does. The most important reason for marriage is deen. Remember that our opartners will have a responsibility for bringing our children up, so having deen would be very important. Having said dat, a muslim man may marry a christian or jewish girl, but not any other faith, but a Muslim woman may ONLY marry a Muslim man. This is because children normally take the religion of the father. Please consult with your local scholars too. Wassalam

So far I am confused? A lot of people have said very different things? How do I now know what is right and wrong?

Please excuse me but I am young and haven't really been taught this but I wanted to know if it was possible for a Muslim such as myself to marry a non-muslim or someone who was white? Because my friends father is Muslim but his mother is neither Christian nor Muslim? Please help.
