Ya'll I have a confession. I have never watched one episode of Married at First Sight. I don't even know the people you guys are talking about. But I watch Bald and the Beautiful bc I love ya'lls interactiosn with each other. As a married women with little to no married friends its just enjoyable to see to couples talking and enjoying each other's company. Plus I'm a fan of both couples
Brett was so trash for saying Olivia was just "a nurse who writes prescriptions" ... does how know how hard NPs work? They're on par with doctors. Don't downplay her accomplishments cause you're jealous of how much she makes!

I said the same thing, especially that over the top dude. He seemed like way too much for the both of them and was added to bring life to their story. He and never interacted with Christina, but was supposed to be her friend. She probably don’t have any friends, all we’ve seen are the Fred and Ethel Mertz, over the top dude and her mom the whole show.
Karen’s past relationship has zero to do with her actions. Miles doesn’t give “I may hurt you” vibes. He seems like he will go over and beyond to make anyone he’s with happy. She just doesn’t like him.

Miles needs someone who’s gonna tame care him because he’s selfless. He’s sweet and want to make his partner happy even if he’s not happy. That’s why his mom and sister are protective of him.
Yeah she also did say when she found out who he was that he wasn’t her type and she thought he was “too emotional” so ugh I guess we’ll just have to watch it all play out..
I think her type looked and was similar to Miles’ tall light skinned friend who was at the wedding and the party 👀 I saw the way she looked at him after they were pronounced as married and exited walking down the aisle... And Miles seemed to have more chemistry with Karen’s friend! They just might not be the one for each.
I do think they throw some people together for the drama. I would be scared to sign up because there's no guarantee you'll get the prize at the end of the aisle, it may be a whammy.

Brett was sooo salty when explaining Olivias job to his friend. Comparing her job to nurse Jackie an opioid addict really? Her salary is more then justified. NP school alone is hell then there’s the workload so him making seem like she just writes prescriptions was an insult. Like woody said she makes more, get over it.
I felt more like it was an ad " Have you ever seen Nurse Jackie on Showtime?" It was very specific, why'd he have to include the network ? Might as well said " You ever seen Nurse Jackie, it reruns on Showtime every Thursday and Saturday at 8 pm or 9est"
I love Bennett and Amelia's art project! That was a very fitting group fun project for them! I hope they end up in New York, because he would do good in the New York Theatre or somewhere like that! He could start making some money and match her!

Brett comes off condescending and a bit male chauvinist when speaking to Olivia. He's a super saver, but let's be honest, he is intimidated he married a woman that makes 3x his salary. On the most recent episode, Olivia seemed willing to compromise, but not Mr. Bossy Budget. Karen is not attracted to Miles. Am I the only one that wants to know why his other 10 relationships failed??! Christina deserves a million dollars for dealing with Henry. His demeanor, personality, and severe insecurity is a horrible combination to appear on reality tv, plus an experiment like MAFS. I don't think she warrants all the backlash she is receiving. Put yourself in a room with Henry for 14 days and you'd be going off too. Just my $.02 Me loves the couples reviews!
I think Bennett and Amelia are affectionate, but just not into PDA. That's why it's not shown on camera. They said "smooching and cuddling" be happening 👀 They could be having the sex and just not telling anybody cuz they both do that little shy giggle thing when asked about it.
You’re probably right…on one of the Unfiltered episodes, Bennett cleverly evaded the questions about sex with funny jokes. They may just want to keep some things for themselves.
I was looking at a MAFS forum last night and a woman responded saying she had gone out with Henry before the show . This is what she had to say : "I’ve been on a few dates with Henry and I always had a great time. He was very shy on our first date but we still laughed a lot. It’s kinda painful to watch this season. Maybe he’s just not cut out for camera but I also think the editing is extremely unfavorable." Then someone asked how long they were together and she responded : "We went on one date and very shortly after, my ex and I got back together so we cut ties. Couple years later I ran into him (Funnily enough, he was with ya girl Kristin and I assumed they were dating.) We started talking again and I brought him to my Christmas party, he was excited to go and we had fun. He was a better slow dancer than I was 🤷🏼♀️😂 We talked about hanging out again but I think filming started because he kinda dropped off." So I guess editing is exaggerating things.

I am rewatching the episode and Henry is being talkative with the group when they were playing games and I low key think it was pissing Christina off because he's not like that with her . Also all of his answers made it clear that he's not interested in her . At one point someone had the question " Would you rather have intimacy but no sex for a year or sex without intimacy ?" I replayed it and I'm pretty sure Henry said, " I like f-ing so it's whatever to me" . I could be misattributing that to him .
Pay attention that Henry plays with his ring when he's frustrated with Christina or when he's asked about being married. As if he wants to take it off and say I quit. Lol

This nondisclosure of Henry's social anxiety is a set up for failure for them both! I can understand why Christina is frustrated! She's been given nothing to work with! I'm team Henry . Like others are saying Christina has had an attitude with production since before she even walked down the aisle . I'm a person who have watched yall for weeks and only started watching the show last week I think Henry needs someone to meet him where he is and Christina needs someone who will coddle her and take care of her. She's complained about having to do everything but what is it that she's doing ? Every interaction we've seen of them is Christina asks a question, Henry takes too long to answer or doesn't really give an answer and then Christina sits there pissed off . If you're having a conversation with someone and genuinely wanting to engage with them you continue trying to have a conversation. You switch subjects, you give a little to get the person to open up . She wants him to care about decorating this apartment that they will be in for what 8 weeks? Yet has seen how he doesn't do that for the place he lives all the time. She wants him to shop for groceries when she saw that his fridge was empty and he told her that he typically eats at his parents, eats frozen meals, or goes out. I bet if she had asked if he would do the shopping and made a list with him or gave him one , he would have done it .It seems like on top of wanting him to completely change for him she also wants him to read her mind . Now I do like that she knows what she wants and is being vocal about it. However, she is completely abrasive and uptight about everything and he is more laid back about stuff and seems like he's not trying to hurt her feelings by telling her she's being ridiculous.

I feel ya Kev, I had a 2012 Toyota Camry, and actually was driving for Uber and Lyft at one point. I remember it was my day off and I was in downtown Atlanta about to go to a doctors appointment. I was stopped at a stoplight and this random person opened my back door and got in my car. I said “Ummm excuse me sir, why TF are you in my car” he looked scared AF because I’m a big black man. So he said “Oh, you’re not my Uber” then got out my car as quickly as possible. I laughed my ass off that day! I drive a Nissan Altima now, and I make sure I keep my doors locked at all times just in case!
It’s one thing to save but Brett just seems cheap af. He don’t even seem like he wanna go on vacation. She at least seems open to saving. I just don’t like how he treats her. He’s low key a jerk.
On a previous episode He said he will go on 5 Star vacations if she’s paying for it because he can’t afford it. How did he treat her bad? He’s sarcastic at times but it seems he dotes on her.

Even when he cooked dinner she was like it’s good and he was just sitting there like “I know” It didn’t seem genuine. Seemed like he just wanted to show off. He comes off like he thinks he’s better than her.

@@sasha02b It could be that she feels set up, but it seems misplaced to take it out on production, as they didn't do the matchmaking. I can't say for certain how I would act on camera, were I in her shoes and I had been mismatched to that degree. I would like to think that I wouldn't take it out on them. But y'all! This isn't a date; it's a legal MARRIAGE.
Karen's mind was made up about Miles before she ever laid eyes on him. She went through with the wedding because of her mother (go back and watch that interaction in the wedding episode). Miles never had a chance. I think it was unfair to him to go through this process with Karen when she knew who he was before the wedding.

They are talking around his issues. His friend said it took a long time for him to open up to his friends and now he’s a great friend. Weirdly I think they’re going to make it.

I'm still not a fan of Olivia. She is so committed to keeping the same life she had before she got married and seems to resent any suggestion to change. She is bored and frustrated because all they do is "sit home and talk." I don't think this girl is ready to be married. She wants a running partner, not a husband.

Henry is still dry as a chicken breast but he’s a nice guy and he’s showing a little personality finally. I still think there’s something developmentally off with him. I feel a little bad for Christina but she does have too much attitude for Henry.

At the very least he should be able to have some type of meaningful talk with her. Honestly if he was as "nice & patient" as he claims, he would do her that courtesy of responding to her questions. His dismissiveness is so annoying. Shame on production for making this one sided. I get her being mad with production. They put the burden on them to entertain a whole country of watchers but he's over there looking around taking none of the burden.
I think they are better off camera as a couple. Henry can’t just turn it on when the cameras are rolling....that’s why Christina is so frustrated. And of course they cut and paste to blow it up
I think whatever really good that happens in Karen and Miles relationship we will never see on TV because of her personality. I think she is more of a "off camera" person. When he was talking to the friends he said he was hungry at 12:00am and she got up and cooked him a full dinner!!! Not a bowl of cereal but a Full meal!! You only do that for people you care something about. I think shes just very shy in front of cameras and selfishly as black women we want them to be more like Amani and Miles and show us more but we are probably are only going to get surface level concerns and interaction with them on camera.
I have an unpopular opinion about Christina and Henry. I agree that she’s putting in more work, but every time he tries a little, she shuts him down. His childhood memory was little, but she belittled his sharing that. So he shuts down. She also complained he’s not doing more, but when he asked about her favorite dishes as a child she “passed.”
I like Henry. I understand Christina's frustration but it seems like she was being rude to production from the beginning so I'm less inclined to care about her frustrations.

I don't think Brett and Olivia will make it. The next time around, Brett will be looking into a prenup to protect his "wealth." I am also in agreement over the lack of PDA with Bennett and Amelia. Maybe each one is waiting for the other to make the first move.

angel, i'm with you! team christina - henry is a mean girl and he knows exactly what he's doing by giving her nothing and frustrating her. i don't know how she made it past the honeymoon at this point, his vocabulary has been 'yeah, no' unless he's complaining about her. for someone who lacks patience, she has had it in abundance and he's been a total jerk about it. every single time brett talks about olivia his tone is filled with disdain, he did nothing but disparage her in front of his friend - i don't think he can get past making less money than her. i know three is no love for karen but she is by far the best dressed on the show and i think she is more into miles than people think she is/can see - she's out here cooking for this man at the midnight hour! i think woody and amani will be tested come lockdown. miles and karen will thrive and so will amelia and bennett. i don't see the others making it.
I’m a lot like Karen. I’m an introvert and I move slow, as well. This is true for me, even with guys that I find very attractive. In this situation, she has to grow quickly out of that but I understand her. What I try to keep in mind is that there have been conversations and moments that have happened without cameras around (i.e. Karen cooking a full meal for Miles after midnight just because he was tired, etc.) Karen said she hoped for more kisses. I’ve got faith in Karen and Miles.
I was so like Karen too when I was dating. I guess that’s why I think she does like Miles. I can see a lot of things that she does that to, me, says she likes him. I agree about the meal at 12:00 at night. I don’t know to many women would volunteer to cook at that time for someone they don’t like.
