Jump into the 60m band with this mod for the Yaesu FT DX 3000
MOD:
enable JUMPER #5 + Factory Settings reset

10-4 good buddy ...... 60 meters was pre programmed in the memory channels and no mod was necessary!

It is if you are trying to use WSJTX / FT8 without a bunch of workardounds

antenna no 3 is receive only !

The FTDX3000 does 60 meters from the factory so you do not need to do this mod. Read the manual on page 35.

True for US and UK but no allowance for other country band plans

I’ll save you the agony from this horrible video. Complete the following. Open the bottom of the radio. Find JP3005 pin 5 . Short the pads out with a soldering iron. Factory reset the radio by holding FAST and LOCK at the same time. Done.
