One thing that is low key super overlooked is just how perfect his Diction is while rapping at such a complex level. He manages to not just flow and connect lines like crosswords, but also pronounces every word accurately and without even the slightest fumble. If you as an individual are able to keep up with his pace you can literally understand every word

the whole album is underrated. it literally only sold like 200,000 something records the first week. right now its at like 600,000 now, which is better but i think it needs more than slim shady lp. It’s honestly way better.

This guy has a alot of courage and bold. All of his intelligence and he has great use of vocabulary . It is amazing how he was able to put some of his life story in his album. @@laser00 Sure. The whole lyrics here is a smart wordplay,where Em uses the same words,but makes sense even with the word's other meaning. To be exact "L" can mean joint which makes sense because "you're looking for smoke". Also "L" means taking a loss here in terms of beefing Eminem. The second line he says see you in Hell which is pronounced like see you inhale. "I should let puff on the joint" refers to Diddy,whose other nickname is Puff,but puff also refers to marijuana. In the third line he runs back and makes sure we all got the double meaning by referring to "inhaling the L". In the last line he is playing again with the word Puff and says with these smart lyrics he makes you "avoid the blunt" which blunt is basically him.

I’m 14 so I never got the chance to hear recovery while I was a fan, but when I first listened to it, it made me feel like pumping my fist in the air. The entire album just had the vibe of an anthem, it was a work of art. both cold wind and talking 2 myself were some of the best to exemplify the feeling of coming back as a new man, the beginning for cold wind and the ending for talking 2 myself Just such a great album, hands down one of the best ever

Yeh this is my personal favourite on the album. It's not the most technical and it's not super fast, but it's definitely a throwback Slim Shady track, and it feels like he was just having fun with this one.. Don't get me wrong, the entire album has a masterclass old-school Slim feel but this track is definitely a throwback to when I was kid
