Looks nice we had two on our farm back in 1983 and I spend many a day listening to the whistle of the turbo, the exhaust should be a straight pipe with no silencer to get the best from her. If you ever plan selling let me know. You've done an excellent job.
It was a lovely tractor the cab was so roomy and comfortable. As well as nicely laid out. Would loved to have straight piped her but decided to keep her all original. I'm afraid we sold the tractor last summer to make room for more projects.
Pity, well if you ever do another one! I was two years out ours were 85 sitting on a B, both were straight piped from the factory and you'd hear them from three miles away when hauling bales.
Hi, I'm just asking 1.Is this the explorer cab model 2. Where did your parts come from? thank you in advance as I'm currently restoring a leyland 802 with my dad and we cant get parts anywhere...
@@jckaos9869 Tractorspareparts.co.uk do a good lot of them too, charnleys have nearly every part, if a part you need isn't on the website they almost always have it or can get one for you. Great tractors though, we bought an 804 over the summer and it's one of the best sounding tractors I've heard, lovely turbo whistle off it, we have had a 702 for 30+ years as well, which we hope to do some work to now that we have the 804 to do the work.
