Great video, thanks for sharing! Goes to show what a wonderful thing the combination of a great sounding amp and a skilled player can be! To your comment about it sounding great at home (with the Ultra Gain channel's gain cranked), but it would be too much at a gig, a friend of mine who plays in a few classic rock bands always maintains that one should play cleaner and brighter in a band setting than they would at home. Conversely, I've played in a band with a guy who played with lots of gain and scooped his mids. Sounded great by himself, but when the band kicked in, he disappeared. I also played in a different band where the guitarist used a reasonable amount of gain, but way too much bass. The poor drummer could never hear him through the sea of mud.

Where were your master control settings on during this presentation?????

How did you set the master Volume in the Green/Red Channel? At noon? I play with DSL40CR in my band and i leave Master Volumes clean/OD1/OD2 channels at noon using a overdrive pedal like mid boost. The sound gets higher then drums. P.S.: I put a pair of the Svetlanas EL34 (Russian Tubes) in the Power Stage.
