@@George-qb2uy It’s quite the specimen! It’s very lightweight with an enormous neck and has a warm, full, ballsy tone. It’s also pretty quiet. I gig with it and play loud rock stuff. It’s impressive!
Yeah, the SLO is looooong gone. Wish I still had it, just because. The SLO I had never really knocked me out for some reason, but it was cool for sure. The Jubilee Reissue is more my thing, to be honest!
SgtThump very cool! Thanks for the response and I actually owned an SLO as well and prefer the Avenger (I owned) and the hot rod 50+ XL (I currently own) more. I also own a jubilee reissue now as well which is why I asked. Just wish the clean and lead channel had separate eq’s on the sj like the slo did.
Jeffrey Edwards I playedtheAvenger a long time ago when they came out and loved it! Never owned one, but thought it was great. I hear ya on the Jube. I use it as a single channel amp on the high gain channel only. Unusable as a multi channel amp IMO.
Sonicblue1922 dont remember exactly, but something like this... presence=11 o'clock... bass=2:00... mids=1:00... treble=11:00. I like the overall master up at 3:00 (it really fills out like this) and the gain channel volume to taste. Preamp gain around 2:00.
