First time flying Marshall Peak in southern California. Northwing Freedom 170 (also new for me). This was at the tail end of the glass off. I think the approach worked out OK, but my flare is still problematic.
@@BariFPV my misunderstanding, this video is from Marshall / Andy Jackson Airpark which is in southern California... I thought you were asking about conditions there. I haven't looked that far forward for the Ellenville forecast. Generally speaking, 5-10 MPH surface winds W-NW is a good range for hang gliding, or maybe a little stronger if it's not gusty and depending on your wing and experience level. There are other variables that should be considered but that's a good starting point IMHO.
