US Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command/MARSOC/
Always Faithful Always Forward
The Marine Corps is the nation’s expeditionary force, ready to respond to any crisis, anywhere. Marines have always fought our nation’s small wars, its irregular wars-the wars of the future. MARSOC Marines are Marines first, and they build on their Corps legacy: MARSOC operators go forward to win the war before it starts.
MARSOC’S MISSION is to recruit, train, sustain, and deploy scalable, expeditionary forces worldwide to accomplish special operations missions assigned by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). To accomplish that, MARSOC equips and trains Marines to succeed in austere conditions against a wide range of adversaries. MARSOC executes complex, distributed operations in uncertain environments, achieving silent success and strategic impact.
MARSOC’S VISION is to be America’s force of choice to provide small lethal expeditionary teams for global special operations. With tight-knit teams of agile and adaptable operators, MARSOC will continue to punch well above its weight class.

MARSOC is the command, the Marine Raiders are the unit. As of right now they're the only unit under MARSOC, but MARSOC itself is the umbrella for the Marine-contributed special forces units.

to be a marsoc operator you cant just tell your recruiter oh sign me up for marsoc...first you need to enlist for a regular MOS such as a 03xx or any other one am 0811 and then be at least a lcpl or cpl do at least 3 tours in country and qualify on swimming and shooting

MARSOC and all the other specops are so badass man. These men to me are the epitome of man- physically and mentally. True warriors. And yet they do it all silently. Facing death, long months of deployment, no pussy within a thousand miles. Wives/gf's back home. Yet, is is the popular athletes and tv celebrities and models and such that we obsess over and follow and get the spotlight, the money, the women. Just thoughts here. Jack Colby Run Alot, Swim Alot, Walk/run with up to a 60lb pack for up to 8 miles at the least. Start crossfit from an early age. Learn Land Nav, Tactical Decisions. Im a standard 0331 is the USMC and MARSOC are like the SEALS of the USMC.

***** Force Recon falls under MARSOC, however the most elite part of MARSOC is the Marine Special Operations Regiment aka the Marine Raider Regiment which is where most of this footage is from.

***** Listen man, the only reason why people think that Force Recon ceased to exist when MARSOC was created was because they trained the operators into MARSOC. Also, a lot of the guys left FR because they didn't like the way it way headed. Since then FR has been rebuilt. Look up a few articles.

It was during a joint spec ops exercise with Australian forces. Raiders, SEALs and SF trained with them.

Awesome work. I love your videos. I'm interested in elite/Tactical Law Enforcement. I know you made one about the FBI Tactical teams, but could you maybe do a video for one of these (I ranked them as to which ones I think would be the coolest/most military like, but obviously it's your choice since they're your videos and your channel): DEA FAST Teams BORTAC US Marshals Tactical Teams (Even regular Marshals would be cool) ICE Homeland Security Investigations SRT ATF SRT NCIS REACT Teams US Secret Service ERT, CST, and/or CAT US Air Marshals Again, I love your video, but I'm also interested in tactical Law Enforcement/counter terrorism teams. I'm sure you get a lot of requests, so if you're not able to make any of these, it's no biggy. I just thought I'd suggest some that are a little different.

Just joined the Corp. I'm a Poolee and I have basic here very soon. I am going in as a combat engineer for 4 years, and then will reevaluate my contract an become infantry and a CSO MARSOC Marine. Life goal right there.
