I am a life long Atlanta bread dude and I'm a 17 year MARTA Driver and I grew up riding these buses with Mr. Dumas and by the way he is still here driving coming up on 50 years.
When I watch a Flxible Metro B ADB transit bus on You Tube I like to pretend that I'm riding on the 505 line from Atlantic City to Longport or to Ocean City Transportation center
Any particular reason the coach front doors are left open whilst the vehicle is in motion? If this were Cincinnati Metro they'd lose their heads over that (and for good reason)
That bus has been retired for a number of years parked at the Southeastern Railway Museum things don’t work as good as it used too MARTA used the historical fleet at the APTA expo excursion a few years ago
Well on a normal circumstances that ain’t happening in revenue service MARTA would pull it out of service with the quickness or will not the yard in that condition
@@tjbrown07 good, good. Good to know that's at least kept straight no matter where I go But I'll ask this: why is it always the school buses that can keep the doors open when crossing tracks but transit and other coaches have to keep the doors shut when crossing (but can open them like 15-50' before the tracks)
