I think the "Refiner" is refining Melody for future elevation that she has yet to achieve. Melody is an ambitious, intelligent, and diligent woman however she lacks the spirit of discernment. She didn't discern Martell's true spirit for many years and, as seen on the show, failed to discern the true nature of the entire cast and Carlos. She threw her pearls to the swine - Martell, the cast, and Carlos - and just as Jesus Christ warned, they attacked her, as it is written: “Do not give dogs what is holy, and DO NOT THROW YOUR PEARLS BEFORE PIGS, LEST THEY TRAMPLE THEM UNDERFOOT AND TURN TO ATTACK YOU." - Matthew 7:6 Here is hoping that she develops discernment for/in her future endeavors.
I was thinking the same thing. You put this so eloquently I think God put her in this position surrounded by these enemies so that she can develop discernment and I think she has learned her lessons that’s why she saying there’s no gray area. Nell is a woman who took back a cheating husband,she sat their and counseled Melody on the ways to take back a cheating man,not a man that would stop cheating and think about his wife and children,so yes Melody was hardheaded to her,Nell look at a young woman with four children who left and soared in a life journey of taking care of herself better than her husband did Thats one reason Martell talks to Nell the way he does because he felt if anyone could change her mind it would of been Nell because she took Chris back.When it comes to Nell and Martell she sees Martell has being like Chris because he cheated,but what Nell didnt understand was all the bs that was going on behind closed doors,now Nell feels likevMelosy should of submitted to Martell to keep a husband,but if you pay attention to the cast all of their marriages are about what the husbands want make them happy at all cost.the cast is a bunch of pick me woman,who cant survive without a man,Melody let it be know it can be done and better,when. I don’t think she’s coming on the show. He dies not want to lose Mel cause he will if she come on that show and Mel has enough ammunition to destroy Carlos and have that show shut down. And she will win the lawsuit against Reigndrops production and OWN.
The sad part about all of this is that Tisha wasn't so darn insecure and had a genuine relationship with Mel she would have helped her with a feature with J Bolin. IMO
