My first job was fry boy turning the tortillas into shells hourly at Taco Bell back then they cooked the beef at each restaurant as well using pressure cookers turning dry beans into refried beans, the cheese and lettuce were shredded and it was very good. Now everything is preshredded and powdered, just add water. Its basically the crap a rock climber takes on a 3 day climb of 'Half Dome'. I will never eat there now. Sad.
Last time I worked there, we had a guy who kept reaching in his pants and rubbing his junk. He smelled like a marinated skunk. When I tried to fire him, he started a fight with me. That didn't end well. After he got out of the hospital, I sued him for defamation and won a 17 million dollar verdict. This dude lives in the hood. He ain't gonna pay. I just asked him to wash his hands. You never know about a boy from the hood.
he do podcast, its not the same but the late night game has changed. no one really looking at broadcasting as they did. Hes got more timely guest and not just Hollywood
Honestly though. He has a radio channel on Sirius xm, a tv channel on Samsung tv, his travel show on max, his podcast. He even has a Halloween mask! "Retired talk show host"
This was one of the most memorable Conan interviews for me. Also the when that lady ate the beetle and when Conan filled up a convertible with soft tacos from the too bell drive through and drove around giving them away. Television gold for me!
I Love Martha's sense of humor... *AND* Conan is *WAYYYY* too funny and *BRILLIANT,* especially over the likes of Jimmy Fallon! I'll never forgive NBC & Jay Leno for throwing Conan under the bus the way they did! 😡
Well, his numbers weren't better than Leno because he had the old people on his side, boomers and some gen x. That demographic, at the time, far outnumbered gen x and millennial that supported Conan. It sucks, but the corporation is going to go for the one that brings in viewers. Had Conan been given a couple years instead of less than 1 year before moving time slots, he would've eclipsed Leno in numbers
ah ha ha ha ha! it's funny because it's martha stewart and she's drinking beer! ahhhh haaaaah haaa haaa!!! she usually does gardening and cooking commentary aahh ha ha ha!!!
Does anyone remember when most of us thought Martha Stewart was a Bch in private, especially after her insider trading scandal? 20 years later, and we now accept that she is genuinely as cool as she comes off in this interview. Having succeeded in her comeback, she has cemented her reputation as a savvy businesswoman.
I don't remember about her personal stuff but I remember the whole scandal situation It was pretty wild It was kind of like if Julia Child had been sentenced to do time for tax evasion
@@gilliganmcneuter4550 Come to think of it, I think it was Conan himself who led me and many others to believe Martha was an evil witch type (even though he frequently interviewed her and even did a segment where he toured Martha's home.)
Remember when Jack In The Box launched the Six Dollar Burger as a dig against "fancy" burgers? For $3.99? Then had to discontinue it when it got up to six dollars and the joke didn't work anymore? A $6 burger is a bargain these days. And a fancy burger will run you close to $20 with tax and tip.
@@Laquintainnroom217 Not to them. The quality has gone way down since then, it’s far more than just smaller portions. No one complains so they just keep making crappy changes, little by little.
@conanobrien There was a recurring skit on the show called "Instant Audience Upgrade". That skit from May 4th 2006 was the most fun one among them, and also had cameos from Abe Vigoda and Tom Hanks. Could you please upload that episode's skit. Thanks!
My grandma loved Martha Stewart. When Martha ended up going to jail, my grandma wasn't phased in the least. She kept watching her programs and reading her materials just the same. ❤
I love Martha Stewart! I used to watch her show everyday after school and I baked my first pie at 16 thanks to her and her recipe. ❤ I still love to bake and cook today, in my 40’s!
Martha Stewart was such a freaking Hottie back then and she didn’t even know it! But then she starts talking 😂and the way she dresses… ruins everything!
Pre 1978 Taco Bell was legit. Pepsi ruined it but also took it national. My first TB experience was in 1973 in SoCal. We used our entire allowance buying $.29 tacos and burritos with green sauce.
I always loved Martha 😎 building a Giant business off of “women’s work” that had always been viewed as frivolous and silly. Well, she’s laughing all the way to the bank! Plus, she’s sort of sexy, isn’t she? I think she’s cool af.
Remember back before her legal problems and all of her workers made complaints about how horrible she was as an employer. She was such an incredibly difficult taskmaster she even made her workers brush and clean the cats and dogs paws at all times of the day. There was more, I just cant remember 😂
I dont drink beer unless its just abiut to start freezing that the foam when you open it hardens . Imagine drink WARM OldEnglish !!! Thats just mest up
She handed that right back to him and brother said "I didn't think I'd have to pry this away from you" Was she supposed to pretend to keep it or something??
Ohh hoh hoh they didnt quite have the internet and goodies yet that we have now when this came out or Martha would have been canceled before she ever made it to jail...lol
After work too many times I would get one of those and a double shooter of Fireball. Now I can't drink either without puking. Oh gosh that stuff is rough.
