I have been a fan of her for years , back when she lived in Turkey Hill I started watching her tv show! I learn so much from her , specially around the holidays, thanksgiving and Christmas decorations ideas, she has been and inspiration to a lot of young woman that had no experience in anything! We need another Martha Steward to teach house wives today , how to decorate their homes and set tables And how to fold towels and T-shirts Etc, I know some people don’t care for her , but I always did and still do , she is and amazing woman a self made millionaire a great business woman 👩‍💼! I respect her for the things that I learned from her! From cooking to planting flowers, lots of advice about everything! And for that , I am thankful! Martha has superior taste in everything.

All of Martha’s homes are over the top beautiful! Love them all. When you have money like she does and has worked so hard for them I have to admire her. Very talented women for sure.

I remember the first time I ever saw Martha's name. I was shopping in a brand new K Mart in San Diego, Ca. when I saw her on the cover of a magazine. It was probably the early 1980s. I was curious to know more about her. A few months later I moved to New Jersey and while there I learned a lot about her and I admired her style and way of living ever since then (except for the short time when her life was temporarily high jacked). She is definitely someone to be admired.

All of Martha's houses are amazingly gorgeous, she works very hard and uses her brain's, you go Martha enjoy your breathtaking homes, beautiful lady.

Everything in her life has to be perfect and it shows. God bless her. A true lady is Martha.

I have been a fan of Martha’s from the early 80’s when she had her first PBS show. It was so informative and beautifully photographed (of course- it’s Martha we’re talking about, right?). She introduced us to so many hobbies and skills even how to use the internet. Remember this was pre all the things online we now take for granted. Above the beautiful lifestyle she introduced to us,(cooking, gardening, entertaining, crafts , collecting, etc) I believe Martha was in her element as a teacher. While it was difficult to duplicate her creativity, if you were so inclined, you truly wanted to try. All great teachers are inspirational and Martha is no exception. Yes, she has and had “a cast of thousands”, help create this empire but don’t forget she was the guiding hand and hands-on is what Martha has always been. Her detractors bring up poverty in the world and minimize Martha’s importance, but since when do we have to apologize for creating beauty and hospitality in our lives? With the emphasis today of grunge, sloppiness in dress and a general malaise of spirit for many valid reasons, I can still go back to the VHS tapes I made of those early Martha shows to instantly perk up my spirits and inspire my creativity. God bless you, Martha!

I always find it interesting to see the way people choose to spend their money... If I had that kind of money, I'd buy the largest piece of land I could ever imagine and have builders build a home for each of my close family members and close friends. We'd build a little private park in the center and live it up!

Her houses are obviously costly and large but they manage to maintain a feeling of home. They are places you want to make memories in and return to. So many times celebrity homes are so large and so stylized that they don't feel like some place you'd want to come home to. They look more like hotels, or institutions.

Very liveable spaces, comfortable and charming and so beautiful! How could you not be happy in anyone of these homes! Well done Martha! Well Done!

I really wish I had the energy and passion to care about cooking and home décor like she does, they seem like fun and useful hobbies.

I have no idea why I watched this. I’ve always loved Martha’s shows and her cooking because of that my daughter does too, and my daughter is 42 now. It was simply boring. You can only sit in one chair at a time, I can’t jump around that much although I do really have a lot of energy. I suppose it was interesting. Thank you very much for giving it all this time. Thank you, Martha because we’ve given you a lot of time. You’re a real talent in so many ways … and talk about energy wow

She had an eye for Real Estate. The house is happy she is there.

Martha is the third owner of Skylands. Mrs. Ford would occasionally update the decor, but no major changes were made to the property. When the Ford's sold the estate, they took nothing. The second owners also left everything. There is also a pink granite driveway that is taken up in the Fall, cleaned, and stored away, and put back down in the Spring.

Martha Stewart is basically a hoarder, but she has really nice stuff and can spread it out among six huge houses and have staff look after it.

I listened to her years ago talk about how she was a billionaire and now could do whatever she wanted. She's way over $400 million. Lucky and talented woman.

Martha lives across the street from me in Katonah. I would not describe any of the houses on the property as ‘gigantic’. Nor would I describe Turkey Hill in Westport a large house. Sky Island in ME was built for Edsel Ford….that’s a big house.

I'm currently repairing the slate on her Skylands Maine estate it's a beautiful house beautiful view honored to be hands on doing the repairs on the lead coated copper and slate great video

I really admire how she built her empire. Even though she is incredibly wealthy, maintaining several homes must be rather expensive. Is she able to somehow use the properties as sets for photo and video shoots, and write it off as a business expense? If not, just maintaining the properties must cost a fortune.

Wealth and money and status aren't everything. It does not give you true happiness. Only your relationship with God and respect and consideration for fellowman is truly of utmost importance. What you've got is only temporary. You can't take it with you.
