You the truth slim I still get it in as well good thing we got our copies because that thing is $80 on eBay it really aged so well I love it now more that I did when I was a youngin
The one for PSP (def jam underground?) was low key just as good as this one too. They added ground-and-pound mechanics. Gameplay on the psp was clunky as fuck but the game was legit
@@russellcontreras394 well they don't necessarily play the games themselves especially the older ones. So some of their worse choices probably looked ok from an outside view.
I’ve been playing this game, my entire life, it’s my second favorite game of all time, I know every line in the cutscenes, I know how many fights there are in the main game excluding after you beat Crow (89), and NOT ONE TIME, have I ever noticed that, that pose, was Goku’s stance. Since the game dropped me and my brother always said the blazin taunts were amazing because they sounded like DBZ screams, but I never noticed the Snoop/Goku pose. I’m actually in shock.
@@incredible916 actually the pogo stick was an extra finisher you can select. No one had the pogo stick in ffny but I think Chucklez from Vendetta might have used it.
3:13 the face of someone who truly, truly gets you. The sweet pleasure of being understood by someone else who share the same view as you who also makes you feel like you're not crazy
Thats a great suggestion. I have a feeling that recreating the moves of some of the Chinese martial Arts practioners such as Julia, Feng, Leo, Leroy and Xiaoyu could also be fun for them to recreate.
The best fighting game ever in my opinion, I had a blast playing this game as a kid, and I still enjoy it as an adult. Def Jam Fight For NY was truly one of kind.
@@nejinaji I personally, as for all types of music, find magnificent artistry to be once again, found, and relatively underground or to its full extent, the innovative self indulgent art.
Snoop Dogg name in the game is Crow! His finishing move is called 187, He has great defense because he's the final boss! He also has ninjitsu as his fighting style! The guy with the shirt off is David Banner! He's from the south (Mississippi), he does the hulk thing, with the whole "you wouldn't like me when I get angry" bit! This game is awesome!
I am so happy Def Jam: Fight For NY made its way here on this channel.😁 The reactions were great!👌🏾😆 By the way, the two shirtless, big guys were David Banner & Bonecrusher.
I feel like you should've showed them the more brutal blazing moves, just to see their reaction. I would've loved to see their reaction to Danny Trejo's blazing move lol
I would also recommend urban reign from the PS2 era. Their own moveset is already sick enough, but with equipment equipped to the right character, they will have their own unique moves.
@@joshuaalach9431 indeed, and I bet it will be much more realistic than DefJam. I am not saying this game is bad, I also have my fun time playing this but some moveset are really unrealistic if compared to urban reign. And the tag team from urban reign also execute so well.
@@reonbk1138 the weapons system on urban reign worked well too. I cant remember so well, but iirc it was pretty realistic (aside from not doing as much damage as in real life, for game balance reasons).
@@joshuaalach9431 I remember a lot with Shinkai Katana and the Chinese Sword with the blue Chinese lady. They have their sweet move set if equipped with those weapons
Aw no reaction to Trejo's blaze move? Starts with a couple of elbows to the chest moving to a series of jabs to the person's face while holding the back of his head then slamming him to the ground finally elbowing them in the back.
Not only was the game great also the soundtrack and decent story. Still one of EA greatest games back in the day (the time EA wasn't crooked). Next up Samurai Shodown with Kendo practitioners/masters.
I can guarantee you that this game hasn't got a re-release because of all the copyrighted and trademarked material. Not just the songs, but the rapper's likenesses too.
The reason these are very pro wrestling-like is because the company that made them were famous for making the WWF games on N64, which are still remembered as some of the best pro wrestling games ever. This game basically combines the pro wrestling style grappling with fighting game style over-the-top special moves.
i LOVE THESE TWO! Whenever I see them its an insta click lol Id love to see them analyze the downfall bosses, the monk in particular, as well as the bruce lee style. Or see them re create the moves
Honestly, this is my favorite fighting game of all time. Would really love to see this game remastered or remade or simply a new one with these same mechanics.
Why is there no Remastered version of this game?!?!?!? The series died with the terrible release of Icon, so bring back the game that was good c'mon EA do something good for a change and remaster this game it was soooooo fun to play.
Great video and reaction ! Now, what we need is a reaction to Yagami's crazy moves in Judgment (or any other yakuza games, but still, Judgment has priority) ! I hope you wont forget drunken master style and the awesome Karate punch when in boost mode
