Excellent Acrobatics Has Absolutely Nothing to do with Self Defense Very Flexible But in a Combat Situation They won't be Flipping and Spinning Most are Close quarter Grappling And Strikes Kness jujitsu Technics But this is Entertaining for sure
very true. Tricking isn't for fighting. It has martial arts in the name because it evolved from different martial arts back in the 90s. Tricking has other assets though.
Why do peopke always gotta go for the Crazy Awesome Mega Super Incredible Amazing whatever. This isn't martial arts, it's parkour. Those boards are too thin. I can believe a person break a board with a flying kick. But this, what's the point of even having boards?
Yes, tricking isn't martial arts. But it's roots are from martial arts. It's grown past martial arts and xtreme martial arts. It is it's own thing. No, it's not parkour, nor freerunning. Parkour involves interraction with obstacles such as roofs, benches, stairs, handrails and whatever else you can get your hands on. The goal of it is to get over all those obstacles fast. Freerunning also involves obstacles but freerunners do multiple flips and twists off of obstacles without trying to get from point A to point B fast. Tricking, on the other hand, is FLAT FLOOR and FLAT FLOOR ONLY. No obstacles. Boards are there for show off.
@@novahspins5153 I think you got parkour and freerunning mixed up. If it's such a big deal for you, I'll just call it gymnastics. This is gymnastics with boards but the boards are pointless. And gymnasts do a whole routine. These people just do a few flips and spins.
@@ninjahombrepalito1721 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7h34bcexWbM.html No, I didn't mix up freerunning and parkour. Gymnastics is a part of tricking but it's still different. Tricking has kicks from martial arts. Gymnastics doesn't and gymnatics still has rules and a huge focus on forms. Landing is also important. You lose points if you bend your legs or land badly. A tricker can do whatever he wants and can land however he wants. This is the only tricking video I've seen with boards. Like I said, that's just for show off and majority of trickers don't use boards. Not everyone trains their kicks till they can cut through the air. Trickers do combos. It's similar to routines but yeah, it's shorter. In combos you land tricks one after another. All these sports have different names cause they're different things. I'm not asking for tricking to be treated as gymnatics. It's not gymnastics.
@@novahspins5153 parkour and freerunning are interchangeable, depends on who you ask. But freerunning is a more descriptive name. . Anyway, my point was this isn't martial arts.
