Awesome job, but those shock absorbers are completely pointless - the whole point of a rocker bogie suspension is that it rotates freely on joints and those shock absorbers actually don't absorb any shocks
First thing I thought when I saw it was: Could you replace the single rear wheel with another " dual-wheel-bogie " like the front has, so it becomes an 8x8, and then adjust the body cosmetically? You could have a rover just like the one Newt's parents had in " Aliens ". Makes me want to try making one... (I'm an R/C hacker of a sort) Then it might have a few steering issues, but that would be something to tackle afterwards.

I want to use these wheels and I am wondering how long my motor shaft needs to stick out from the mount to reach the wheel. I have ordered motors with 2cm long shafts and the 12MM hex adapters. Can you please check yours and tell me if you think this will work? I cant have the side of the wheel hitting the side of my motor mounts. Basically how far into the wheel is the mount and how far does the hex adapters extend outwards. Thanks for your help! I am sharing your videos with others to try help support you.

This is pretty cool! I wish I had one for demos. Not that it matters but you know you are driving it in reverse? Forward motion is rocker first. we typically drive it backwards when driving over obstacles and slopes, the rocker-bogie has a slightly better performance driving bogie first.

Добрый день, собираюсь купить ваш STL и напечатать, единственные для меня не понятные моменты, это: 1) Как он разворачивается? 2) и ни где не могу найти подключение к моторам, там только одна ESC стоит? 3)Может ли он ехать назад? п.с. Может где есть еще видо, что бы посмотреть :)
Разворачивается по принципу танка, колеса вращаются в разные стороны. Назад разумеется ездит. Дополнительные видео еще не снял, планирую на праздники вытащить его на улицу
