The guy chose to join us when we were literally in the dumps. It takes character to willingly come in with a determination to change things and make an impact. The guy is an absolute artist in my books. Definitely has leadership capability.

I'm so happy we got Ødegaard. He was considered to be one of the best youngsters in history when he was 16 but just floated around loans with Madrid. I think he needed someplace to call home for him to truly shine. I'm glad we're giving him that home ❤️

He's like a mix of Özil and Santi with extra work rate on top. So brilliant!

Sadly enough an Everton fan, its depressing. I started watching other teams for the cheer entertainment of it, Ødegaard in Arsenal did that for me. Not him all alone obviously, but he was the missing part, constituting an entirely new whole. What a player; massive talent, nurtured by a humble personality, of a creative and intelligent mind. This guy is more than a player, he's an artist.

I have admired Oddegard from a long time. Being a RM fan, I hate him leaving us but being an arrogant man myself, I love the fact that he walked from one of the best club of all time to Arsenal, to do what he was destined to. Play football.

Dude artistry is MORE than being a football orchestrator, He's a genius who's mindset and creativity can legally compared to an Orchestra Arranger who hears the sounds of each instruments in his or her mind without playing them and go thus far to write beautifully for all the instrument. We’re witnessing greatness before our eyes if Odegaard continues on this trajectory he’ll be name to be remembered for the long haul. His manipulation of the ball is special. The ball & him are always in balance. Obviously Arsenal’s team is young, dynamic & exciting . We have a lot of good young players but Odegaard is the paintbrush in the operation. He orchestrates everything never really wastes a ball. Odegaard controls our game and tempo. Everything flows through him people look for him now. Odegaard’s influence is getting stronger and stronger. With him as captain & a clinical forward the sky is the limit for Arsenal. We have got a proper talent in Odegaard it’s exciting to see how high he can go.

I come back here at least twice in a week to watch this masterpiece again.

Not since Santi Cazorla have I seen a player who carries the ball as well as Odegaard... Santi was a bit more gifted due to being ambidextrous, but Odegaard is more physically imposing as he works as hard as a box to box midfielder, but has the elegance of a 10... He is basically what Ozil would be if he worked hard.

A lot of his key passes have resulted in missed chances, bcoz the players around him are not on his same intelligence level. Once our youngsters like saka, martinelli, etc, gain more experience, intelligence, understanding patterns of play, then they'll start to score more goals. Once our new striker & odegaard himself starts scoring more goals, then we'll truly become a force to reckon with, not only in England, but in Europe as well...

Not gonna lie, Martin has been THE finding of english football. Yes, everybody knew him because of the circunstances he was involved in, of debuting for Madrid at the age of 15, because of his time at Real Sociedad. What nobody knew though, is the extent of this guy's talent. He was deemed a flop early, and now, along with KDB, he's the best midfielder in the league. Amazing piece of business by our club.
