Same here. RIP Martin Crowe. I'd never forget his batting in WC 1992 semi-final. I personally think Pakistan only went on to win the cup because Aqib Javeed got lucky with Martin's wicket.
King of the swing wasim akram said "there was the only batsman who always defeated me and he never scared of me and waqar's express deliveries "the true legend sir rest in peace
Today, the world of Cricket have lost a true gentlemen in the form of Martin Crowe MBE who has sadly succumbed to the cruel and unfair cancer in particular Lymphoma. Martin was the cricketer that most tried to be for manner in which he played the beautiful game. To Martin's family and close friends, one cannot imagine what is was like not knowing how long he would live but all I can do is to convey my sincerest sympathies to them. Rest in peace boss, see you on the other side. Okioki I roto i tōku rongo , me te kite koutou i runga i te tahi atu taha Martin David Crowe MBE, 1962-2016
Hope the Kiwi Spirit never fades.. Peace and Love to the wonderful Blackcaps the the inhabitants of the Middle-Earth.. Hope things improve more to make the wonderful New Zealand even better.. !! :)
No batsman had a better technique than Martin Crowe. There was Gavaskar, Boycott and then there was Martin Crowe. In form, Martin Crowe was simply invulnerable.
53 - no age at all. Seems so unfair. What a very sad loss still keenly felt by cricket lovers around the world - but undoubtedly more keenly by his family, of course.
