Everyone says sherlock is queerbaiting. I think they cement that the relationship between sherlock and John is not the sexual sort. I personally see a romantic hue to the relationship, completely lacking the sexual aspect that sexual normative people have. Being asexual myself, I see a love in how John looks after sherlock, tries helping him to grow and be better, and how he genuinely concerns over Sherlock (like how he had a hard time forgiving Mary for shooting sherlock.) And Sherlock cares for John, obviously. John is the most important person in his life. From his desire for John's company to his fear of their marriage pushing him out to him literally willing himself alive out of concern for John and even later risking his life and almost getting killed to try and "Save" John. There is a love there. It's a deeper love than a friendship, but maybe not so deep a love as to call them lovers. But there is a genuine depth of love that could be easily mistaken by sexually normative viewers as queerbaiting. I think they just have a different sort of love.

One of the best shows i have ever seen in mah life man :) SHERLOCK is pure genius. A fucking masterpiece !! ⛤⛥⛦⛧ Martin Freeman became my favorite actor after i saw The hobbits. I knew all the long that Martin was excellent in The Office. But glad you did something else after that.
