You need storage. Battery storage. Then you use it yourself. Don't sell back to grid.

You dont have to have a south facing roof either. Matin lewis knows finance but solar pv not so much!

Martin really you have not done your home work on solar installs. Yes you can install your own solar battery system, so long as you know what you are doing, and your not connected to the grid. Otherwise Ikea would be in trouble, would'nt they! No one can stop you putting solar on your shed or garage or house for that matter.

No you don't get paid for selling your energy, and it is sun don't work on dull day 😂😂😂😂
