Here the Martin Luther Church Choir in Toronto sings a compilation of four songs in English and German under the direction of Linda Marchinkus on Pentecost Sunday May 28, 2023 during the worship service led by Pastor Annika Klappert.
Songs: a Psalm prayer according to Psalm 101, "Das Gloria Patri", and the medley of "Komm, Gott Schӧpfer, Heil'ger Geist", "Öffne Uns die Ohren, Herr", "Holy Spirit, Lord of Love", "Come, O Spirit, Truth Divine".
Psalm Prayer according to Psalm 101
Refrain: Send forth your Spirit, O Lord, and renew the face of the earth.
1.Bless the Lord, my soul! Lord God, how great you are! How many are your works, O Lord! the earth is full of your riches. Refrain.
2.You take back your spirit they die, returning to the dust from which they came. You send forth your spirit, they are created; and you renew the face of the earth. Refrain.
3. May the glory of the Lord last forever! May the Lord rejoice in his works! May my thoughts be pleasing to Him. I find my joy in the Lord. Refrain.

1.Come, O Spirit, truth divine, and dawn upon this soul of mine. Word of God and inward Light awake my spirit, clear my sight. Holy Spirit, love divine, glow within this heart of mine. Take control of my desires and purify with holy fire.
2.Come, O Spirit, pow'r divine, come fill and guide this will of mine. Give me strength to live each day, to follow in your holy way. Holy Spirit, love divine, reign within this life of mine. Loose the bonds and set me free to live for You eternally. Veni sancte spiritus.
3.Once again in love draw near to your people gathered here. Since our great baptismal day, you have led us on our way.
