Several reasons. 1. Guitar fits his voice best that he found on a budget before he became a superstar. 2. Small guitars don’t feedback as much as the large ones and his looping style he’s beating on it for drums which make excellent drum tones. 3. Makes Ed look bigger than he is. Plus his smaller hands fits between the frets better.
