@99eigencharu actually I think the director got confused about the topic of the movie. I mean, the first movie was loved because it was an artistic movie about JOKER. The main protagonist was Joker. The director made the second film more about ART, amd deviated from main topic. Although sometimes you don't make movies for the audiences, so It might be intentional.

Its sad to see that a lot of good south indian movies get overshadowed by chappri movies like this one. No one even spoke about raj b shetty's swathi muththina male haniye, which was way better than any recent kannada movie. This is happening in the telugu industry too, every mf wants to try hitting the same chord as pushpa, ismart is one of them. There are many families that control the kannada industry, and its sad to see how nepotism has been so prevalent in indian cinema that it is butchering the quality of entertainment being produced now.

I am from Karnataka and dhruva sarja's fan.This film just ruined the name of kannada industry in pan India.This film was allocated around 30Cr budget for this movie according to the story.But then the director of film just increased its scale which was not necessary at all.Also there was a fight between the director and producer during the shoot of the film.Dhruva sarja worked a lot for this film.He increased his weight by 30kgs.The one to be blamed for this is the director.Hope Dhruva Sarja cames comeback in his next project,KD

So glad this is being called out! Personally, I grew up in the 90s watching Kannada movies from 60s and 70s that my parents grew up with. An industry that churned out movies like Gejjepooje, Edakallu Guddada Mele, Sharapanjara, Kaviratna Kalidasa that explored concepts of infidelity, single motherhood, biopics of great figures etc so well and which were way ahead of their time - has now fallen to this. Just thinking about the difference in story, storytelling and the language used in these movies - makes me sad. Just sad.

People of Karnataka walked out of Jigra, Alan Walker's Concert, the new Rajnikanth movie, but watch shit like this is going houseful here. See what happened here is after kgf received world wide pharse, the fan bases of other actors wanted their idols to get the same recognition, dhruva, darshan, kicha sudeep, Shiv Rajkumar and many more tried their best and make the movie full of everything that didn't work in kgf and other successful mass movies, and as the huge fan base of this actors are here, they fill up the seats multiple times to get their hero the glory they think he deserves and this shitty trend continues It's a headache for us too

Hats off to you for doing such a daring job saving us from the torture .Though i never planned to watch it after the horrendous trailer, I still felt like a lot of reviewers are gonna praise this movie as it has been for a lot of other movies similar or probably a bit better than this one. Sadly the makers not only think we are dumb, but they actually manage to bring down the IQ levels of a lot of the audience making these.
