Part 1: • MARTIN SCORSESE: Goodf...
Martin Scorsese allows us to touch the magic of cinema with enviable regularity. For more than fifty years, he has been giving us great pictures. His style is exemplary. 26 feature films, dozens of documentaries and a couple of great series. His collaborations with De Niro, Pesci, Daniel Day Lewis and, of course, Leonardo DiCaprio bring out the best in these great actors. And his ability to turn books into visual storytelling is rightfully considered unique. Whether it's the love story "The Age of Innocence", the religious drama "Silence" or the crazy immoral memoir "The Wolf of Wall Street". For the second part of the biography, I came up with a title that says it all: "30 years. 13 films. 9 Oscar nominations. 1 genius."
I hope Martin's biography will be two hours of informative and exciting content for you. Happy viewing.

Thoroughly enjoyed this, once again. Scorsese's such a character, even if you're not a film buff- his career is a triumph of passion which reflects in all his work despite what critics and the money says each time. Every film has something special to gain, to learn, and to enjoy. One of the very few directors who's films I can just watch regardless of the what, where, or why. I hope all these documentaries you do continue to prove much the same. Thank you.

Well, I'm happy to say that I was wrong! I love documentary films and watch quite a few of them. You have such talent. Such talent. This does not look or feel like "a RU-vid video about Martin Scorcese..." This documentary deserves many more views! It also deserves to be picked up by a major studio or production company!! Couldn't agree more. It was annoying every time I heard someone complain about the running time of the film. I'll take a three and a half hour masterpiece by Scorsese any day of the week over a two hour mindless piece of crap that is put out purely for money. All of the performances were top notch, De Niro's was underrated. I enjoyed every minute of it, the editing, music, performances, cinematography were all a thing to behold, great storytelling by Scorsese as always.

The Aviator was DiCaprios project. He bought the filmrights to the book, worked on the script with the writer and then asked Scorsese to direct. This is well known. The same is true of The Wolf of Wallstreet. Also, Liota did not turn down the part for The Departed. He was not offered it. Mark Wohlberg jumped at the chance to work with Scorsese. Wohlberg did not have any problems working with DiiCaprio and would not have hesitated since the two of them got along well. They had a problem before they both sat down to read for Basketball Diaries but soon became freinds. Its anoying that an otherwise great video has mistakes like this. Still, great video.

I've watched alot of Martin Scorcese films. Some of them I totally either forgot or forgot he directed. I never will forget " Taxi Driver". Back then a friend told me the storyline on a train ride to the Big Apple. This documentary is amazing. During the documentary the narrator pointed out that few times Scorcese directed films with current times. RIP to Ahmet Ertegun who was injured at the Stones Beacon Theatre concert and ultimately died. I must have seen Goodfellas 60 times and my closest friends either quote it or point out scenes. Scorcese's talent is the Best and the Soundtracks are just as good. Looking forward to more films!!! Bravo. I went to the library to rent some of more Scorcese films!!!! Lets remember that he also started preserving older films .
