Klugh was an inspiration to me in 1976 and he still is! A kid from inner city Detroit learned to play such sweet jazz and write such great guitar music!! Thank you God for Earl Klugh!!

Awesome. It's not too often that a Jazz guitar and nylon strung guitar go well together. Simply beautiful.

I was very lucky to be in the front row seats of the Ulster Hall Belfast 2nd March 2013 to watch two of the greatest guitarist's to walk the face of this earth. Oddly enough, you could not meet anyone more pleasant or down to earth than Tommy Emmanuel & Martin Taylor, the word MAGIC comes to mined, although we all this comes from HARD WORK something both these men have never been shy of.

Stumbled upon Earl at a small club in Ann Arbor MIchigan in 1973. coming from a Rock Blues pentatonic approach. I was floored at his harmonic complexity and flawless technique. It was an unknown universe of which I had never ventured into. He would have been about 20 yrs old. I got a chance to personally thank him 45 yrs latwer when he performed at the Blue Note in Honolulu. Mahalo Earl!

George Benson said in 1987 that he believes in every note Earl plays, high praise from a another master guitarist.

Listening to Earl's solo on this one, I believe in every note Earl plays (beautiful and tasty note choices)! But, unfortunately, I can't say I'm a master guitarist like George Benson.

I truly love these videos Martin, very informative and a joy to watch. I wish you would do a quick version of Danny Boy that you did for a magazine years ago. I managed two bars but I think im ready to tackle all of it now. Keep up the great work, it's inspiring.

for those saying that Martins guitar is too loud, in this youtube video this maybe the case but in the original and whole clip on his website MTGA his part is at a lower level. I think it is simply down to whoever re-encoded the clip for youtube

@ GigglingGirI , what we are hearing in the vid, is certainly not what they were hearing while they were playing. This is playback on two channels and whoever did the vid itself just had the electric turned up too loud. Actually quite a bit too loud to my ears also.
