Martlesham Heath Airfield 

No 242 Sqn was located here for a time during WW2. It is from this airfield that Willie McKnight the great Canadian ace and wingman/friend of Douglas Bader took off on Jan 12 1941 and like so many others never returned. Thanks for the great video of that hallowed ground. Regards from Canada
