I've known Marty for awhile now. We even wrote a few together,,but it had been a long time since I'd seen him. So I was barely watching TV the night this came on, and not expecting to see Marty, I told my son to watch this. He is going to shock them when he starts singing, and HE DID ! Luv ya brother.

Marty Brown made mistakes, paid the price and is now getting a second chance to do what he does best... sing old school country. Keep it up Marty.... I am a fan. Marty Brown had a MCA recording contract back in 91 and he has a Vevo video on here of his best song called "High and Dry." The man could sing then, the only problem is he was imitating Hank William Sr vocal style and what I call "Thrashville" doesn't do that style any longer especially since 2000 got here cause since then country is not country. In fact it SUCKS!!!! I like Marty's version better than Garth Brooks cover of it which is good but I believe Garth is the reason country became non-country and is the mystery person in the song George Strait and Alan Jackson did called "Murder On Music Row" which caused a hell of is bunch of issue's in Thrashville #GreatJobMarty #SkinnyJeanCountrySUCKS!!

I rememeber walking into Wal-Mart in Bowling Green, Ky back in 92 or 93 with my girlfriend and seeing this guy getting ready to sing inside the store. He was really good and I even bought an autographed cd. I still have it somewhere. Love his sound.
