Marty Chase Alone: Lakota Ceremonial Teachings 

Lakota Elder, Sacred Bundle Carrier, and longtime Colorado resident Marty Chase Alone discuss the healing sweat (Inipi) lodge ceremony including the use of music and drumming, as practiced at Southdown Indian Mountain Healing. The presentation will included music by Charles Red Cloud and drumming performance.
Chase Alone is the great grandson of great Holy Man, Nicholas Black Elk of "Black Elk Speaks" by John Neihardt, and the grandson of well-known medicine man, Mark Big Road.
Red Cloud comes from a family of singers having learned from his grandfathers, Bill Horn Cloud, Charles Red Cloud and Oliver Red Cloud, recipient of a Grammy Award for a song produced by Lee Plentiwolf entitled “Medicine Wolf” in the Indigo category, and teacher of songs for cultural preservation.
