I had the pleasure of hearing this awesome Southwest flight attendant delivers hilarious PA! For licensing/commercial usage, please contact licensing@rumble.com.
I was taking a group of kids on an educational travel tour, most of whom had never flown before. Marty was our flight attendant, and the kids were laughing so hard they forgot to be nervous.
This hostess is all across the internet for making funny announcements! She is clearly stand up comedian material, but the crowd can't escape from their seats in an airplane which is a smart move if you have a bad day at work. Fantastic!
Marty, I'm dead serious. As the son of a commercial pilot, I spent a lot of my life in planes and airports. Unfortunately, with all of the post-9/11 TSA obstacle course, loading, check-in, etc., I've been conditioned to not stand the thought of commercial flight travel. Prepare for the greatest compliment I could possibly pay you. You actually make flying look attractive and fun again. You are a delightful breathe of fresh air in a world gone dry and stale. Thank you. Be safe and God bless.
Seems the core part of these speeches (including humor parts) are consistent in in every flight of southwest. Good policy. Other airlines should follow it!
She is hilarious, but I dare say, I´ve never heard anyone talk THAT FAST before in my life! Good thing it´s been recorded, I need to listen to it several times to understand it all...
I remember my sister was a flight attendant do American Airlines in the late 70's. Training was much more stringent back then. You had to be a certain height & weight. No glasses, contacts only. They taught you how to do your makeup. Really? But she had some of the best stories! The woman that knocked her husband out with a bottle of champagne, because he was drunk & obnoxious. A spider monkey that someone snuck on the plane & it got loose. All the flight attendants trying to capture it. In first class the used real China & she's trying to carve a roast on one of those be carts, while the suddenly hit tubulance. People asked her how she pulled THAT off. She said she just winged it, they didn't teach her that in training. These funny videos are s great. More relaxed!!!
I just LOVE her! Please put her in charge of training, or atleast use her techniques to train other flight attendants, she's EXCELLENT & I know she'd put others at ease in flying!!!
She is funny and at least she gets the attention of the passengers which is exactly what is needed, unfortunately those safety briefs can get a little boring and repetitive and I tend to drift off. I wish we had her in Australia it would definitely liven up the flight. 🇦🇺😷😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Australia has the worst flight attendants, well at least Qantas does. They speak so fast and so boring and having flown on 14 individual Qantas flights I have only listened once or twice because they're just so boring and disengaging.
This lady is a rock star! I would love to be sitting in a seat too small...too firm... anticipating a boring flight to someplace and hear these instructions. Wouldn't that instantly make you smile...make your flight better?
Before I retired I flew Southwest every week from Orlando to Phillie for about a year. We had several instances where both the male and female senior attendants made jokes like this or sang to us. It relaxed the scared flyers somewhat. I love Southwest and since I flew the same flights each week, I got to know some of the gals and they were so much fun. I also remember, early in my career when I would fly from Houston Hobby to Dallas Love weekly, office to office. Back then the attendants wore hot pants and were required to have certain weight limits and age limits. I know it sounds sexist but they had the most beautiful and hot young ladies back in the day. No offense to todays male and females, old and young, fat and skinny.
@Cherry And we have to pray for people like you. Hell awaits you unless you accept the Lord. With all the evidice we have for you to say that tells me that you are super stupid.
If I was to fly in the future, I would SO fly Southwest and hopefully see Marty Cobb. Ten years ago, I flew SWA going home from moving my sister into her new home in Colorado, and when the FAs demonstrated the use of the seatbelt, they said to wear it low and tight "Britney Spears style".
I love these videos I drive school bus and we have to give a safety speech before we leave about rules and if something would happen what they are supposed to do and I base mine off of this to try and make it fun otherwise it’s the same old boring stuff and nobody listens to you lol.
The funny thing is I bet when she first started doing that the pilot probably told her not to do that because it's unprofessional and stuff like that then Southwest probably realized just how much business they were getting because of her and said go ahead with it keep up the good work Marty I hope the next time I fly I am definitely flying Southwest and I am requesting Marty is my flight attendant fingers crossed
She has already been accused of showing off at the expense of her passenger. Almost all can't understand what she is saying which is supposed to be a safety briefing. She wants attention.
Who accused her-YOU?. A lot of the Southwest folks do a similar type of spiel because here is a newsflash for you tightasses pilots. If they didn't make it somewhat humorous then NONE of the passengers would really listen.
@@rolandmiller5456Miller, She talked to fast for folks to understand her. All newbies flying do listen and I don't know of any tightasses pilots. You must hang with the wrong crowd and I been flying for 54yrs. You are a foul mouth kid. Go back to school and at least finish grade school. Have a nice and safe day.
