I knew Marty back when he played music with his brothers and daddy, The American Bluegrass Express. I played banjo in a band called the Pine Valley Bluegrass Boys, I've played a little with him in jam sessions back then, and always knew he'd make it big. I'm very happy he found the Lord. his testimonial brought tears to me eyes, for I too have a problem with alcohol. Very moving testimonial Marty, thanks buddy. P.S. Glad you came back to bluegrass. (:
Amazing! Long time fan of Mr. Raybon, I must've watched this recording at least 20 times, a month later I'm back in church, serving again. :) Thank you for this video, needed it!
I sat in front of Marty in a church in Hobbs, NM many years ago. It was great to see him and I was happy that he had changed his life for the better. It was very touching and I really enjoyed his singing. Great voice!!
Thank you Marty for sharing your story. You're an inspiration. I've been to a lot of the same places in life as you have been. I'm still there sometimes, but I'm trying to get it right. Hearing your story, inspires me and gives me hope. Thank you, from my heart. Thank you.
AMEN!! Sumbutt72 you know your scripture. God bless you! I have been saved and am thankful not of for HIS grace but without HIS mercy I would be nothing. He loved me when I was my most unloveable. Jesus loved me before I ever knew Him. He has never let me down and never will. I can't go to my earthly father but I can always go to HIM!
I started watching you when you and Shenandoah, I love watching you and your band. You are still a great singer. I feel the Holy Spirit when you are singing Gospel songs. You are so Amazing!!!❤🖤❤🖤
Powerful testimony from my friend Marty Raybon. He will be back in Titusville,Fl. to do a concert on Sep 6 and I look forward to fellowshipping him once again. jt's bluegass
Not only a great voice but you have a powerful testimony. Keep on telling it. I heard everything even over the babies. God loves the babies. Teach a child in the way it should go and those parents have their children in church. Marty keep on keeping on! May God bless you and your family.
the drummer of shenandoah is my 2nd cousin, my moms first cousin, idk i always hought it was pretty cool to hear songs on the radio that someone in the band is family
To begin with, whomever recorded this should have taken their job serious enough to remove the child in need and not allow parental laziness to interfere...Other than that what I heard of his testimonial was very easy to understand.....Too sad that most people just want to listen to his musical talents and not hear his words to the people that enjoy his music!!! Keep going Marty there is still yet MORE the LORD needs of YOU!!!!!
sorry, I have no control of people in a crowd. I am a long time friend of Marty's and have filmed a bunch of his live stuff and there is always someone talking or walking in front of the camera. I don't think I have ever been to a church where a kid has not cried it has nothing to do with parenting. God Bless.
There is no such thing as a "sinners prayer" for salvation. Jesus said you MUST be born of the water and the Spirit in order to enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5) Peter preached the same message in Acts 2:38. Paul confirmed the same message as Jesus and Peter in Acts 19:1-6. You MUST be born of the water and the Spirit. Repentence only will not do it. I pray that all will be born of the water and Spirit. God bless you in Jesus' name!
Marvin, perhaps a little more study and "rightly dividing" of the word of truth will show you that Acts 2:38 has NOTHING to do with Church Age salvation for today. There is NO power in water...the power is in the BLOOD of Jesus Christ. Being "born of the water" is referring to our PHYSICAL birth. Being "born of the Spirit" is referring to our SPIRITUAL birth...also known as getting saved. Ephesians 2:8,9 says that we are saved by GRACE THROUGH FAITH and not of WORKS (baptism is a work).
Wish some people would be happy that someone decided to bring their child or children to church. Just saying. Would Jesus be mad at the child for being a child in church??
